I think Jiri is just too dynamic, he's faster and stronger than Glover, I would love to be wrong bc I'm a big fan of Glover, I think pretty much all fight fans are. And I didn't give him a lot of a chance against Jan, I was wrong that time. But I just don't see his grappling overcoming Jiri's aggression and striking.

Andre Fialho could easily be on his way to breaking the most UFC fights in one year at this rate, god damn.

Glover can walk him with high guard to potentially clinch him and change level, also fainte jab and clinch, or fainte clinch and smash. Jiri can only strike.

Pulling for Old Man Glover. Dude took angry Santos bombs and the swarm that followed. And his “not today” against Ion was great. Doesn’t go to the 2nd IMO either way.

Such a hard fight for me to root for someone. Glover has a great story and would be insane to see him rack up some title fights, but seeing the rise of Jiri and the entertainment he brings is hard to not want him to win

I'm the only one in the world that is actually looking forward to the Bullet fight.... like I actually expect a decent fight. Obviously I'm picking Bullet to win but I seriously think Talia is going to give her the toughest fight she's had in a while. Talia is legit.... I've watched her for a while and she's a very solid fighter. I think she'll even hang with her for a couple rounds. @@flicfan416 A big reason why many of these girls have not been competitive with Valentina is their lack of athleticism. Most of them have been ordinary women who train hard but are not gifted athletes, limiting their potential. Andrade had the strength and athleticism, but she wasn't that technical and she was outsized leading to her getting big-sistered by Shevchenko. Santos actually has the strength, size and athleticism, but her technical prowess is not up to Shevchenko's level especially on the feet. On the ground and in the clinch it might be more competitive.

Hey Weasle. Love your videos. I think you do the best pre-fight and post-fight analysis videos on all of youtube. I would love to hear your opinion on this topic: In all of the other major sports, when one team or individual player defeats another team or player, nobody ever says "well we lost that match so I guess we might as well pack it in for the season, there's no way we can beat them next time". But for some strange reason I find that the MMA community tends to think that way about fighters and their losses. I believe that when 2 top fighters fight each other we find out who is the best fighter ON THAT PARTICULAR NIGHT. Obviously, sometimes we do just find out that one fighter is simply superior to that opponent so here is my question for you: If every top 5 fighter in every weight class fought each other 5 times, how many 5-0 sweeps do you think there would actually be?

I love how everybody sleep on Glover, like they sleep on Do Bronx.

I favor Glover this time Jiri is coming from a 1 year layoff and that’s just a big concern as Glover age.

Glover by 2nd round submission after getting stunned real bad and almost finished in the 1st round Valentina by utter domination leading to a TKO or submission finish Joanna by decision in a hard-fought razor-close fight

Glover knows the danger Jiri poses so he'll be motivated to land the takedowns. Jiri has waaay less experience at this level and it'll show. Jiri will rush at Glover, get taken down, and spend 3/4 minutes being hurt and beaten by Glover on the mat. Jiri will hurt Glover in the 2nd, before being taken down again and eventually submitted.

@@TR13400 Lol I know. Honestly, was so close to being right too. 3 minutes of control time in the first round, Glover nearly got finished in the 2nd round before closing in on some tight sub attempts. I think a 5th round Sub from Jiri was probably the least likely outcome possible.

Bontorin v Kape is off now also ! Bontorin had weight management issues. It would suck to fly all the way to Singapore just for your opponent to miss weight.

Outside of the glover fight, Talia is the underdog I would be least surprised to see win. Talia brings what all of Valentina’s opponents in this division didn’t : a real dominant physical presence. power and strength and size. We have not seen enough from Talia but don’t be surprised if this goes down the Nunes path in terms of a massive upset
