Did they know he was listening? It wasn't live. The same guy that was interviewing Colby had done a sitdown interview with Tai and Volk. He just clipped it and showed to Colby in their interview. Ariel does the same thing quite often. It often makes for good quotes, but Ariel usually does it with 2 guys that can fight each other or will be. Americans are so used to most of their mainstream sports having 0 interest outside of America that they genuinely don't understand that the UFC Is pretty big internationally and absolutely no one outside the U.S gives a shit about Colby Covington. Volk and now Tai as well after his recent fight are far more popular and bigger draws than Covington. (Except maybe Brazil because all of them hate him and wanna watch his fights to see him get smoked)
