Also he was notably absent from an event in his home state when he normally does prefight announcements and preshow stuff. Granted, he doesn’t ALWAYS do them but still, its a question worth asking. How Izzy handles it is his business and obviously related to his experience so I’ll just have to take him at his word but again, I feel the question was fair.

I don't give a f*** what Izzy thinks about Joe Rogan's situation. I wanted to hear Dana's answer!

Can’t happen on this fight card. Izzy just signed one of the biggest contracts in ufc history and everyone else is satisfied with their pay. Nobody making noise on this card.

Name a MMA organisation that pays fighters more. Sure boxing pays more if you are elite top tier champion but besides that you get paid dirt. In boxing it is either feast or famine. How much do professional Judokos, wrestles(real not fake), Muay Thai fighters etc get paid? Sure you can win a Gold medal in the olympics(in which is epic) but that is not going to buy you a house. There's a reason hundreds of these fighters want to be in the UFC. Having said that I think the UFC can do more in regards to less restrictive contracts and better PPV % for top tier champions like Ngannou. I think the champs deserve a bigger % when it comes to PPV sales. It is not a good look when Ngannou, JBJ, Khabib and Conor would rather fighter in boxing or not fight at all. TLDR: Mid to lower tier MMA fighters UFC is the place to be for top tier, you are might be underpaid and better off in boxing.

@@oddmanout7755 I don't know, it is hard because UFC bought out all of their competitors so they essentially have a monopoly plus their owner Endeavor needs to make profits for shareholders. Bellator has some talent like MVP, Bader, Fedor, Mousasi etc but does not hold a candle to the UFC.
