I will be the first to say, I was wrong about Adesanya being focused on Jones and he has shown to me how special of a fighter and performer he is. Breaking down the fight showed me how next level Adesanya is by using what we already know from him, and applying them in different spaces. That is an extremely hard thing to do.

Adesanya is a beast but why jeopardize your entire career going in there against Jones. In the 243 post fight analysis with Cormier watch Cormiers reaction when Brett Okomoto asks him if it's a good idea for Izzy to fight Jon.

@Kepha Binyahmin What's his age got to do with it?? No one ever gets every prediction right - it's quite literally a crap shoot, you can be the oldest, saltiest veteran mma coach in the world, but even you're only going to be making a best guess based on previous fights & other info (yes an information, well reasoned guess, but still a guess at the end of it all). Would you care to list of who you think does a better job at post fight analysis so soon after an event??

Thank you for shout out to AUS fans. AUS is a sport nation and we love MMA. We support our athletes but we also give credits to the opponents of what they deserve. Civil and respectful but passionate. For those who comment of boo of Izzy, (1) do remember what Izzy said about Rob the whole time prior to the fight (2) You cant have "100%" fans behave the gold standard out of 57K in the stadium. I have alot of issues with Whittaker after that fight. When does he swing wild like that and force a blitz combination? His head movement was atrocious also along with the lack of his usual timed combinations. He didn't try to engage in a clinch or put him against the fence or even take him down. Maybe the damage from fighting Romero for 10 rounds along with the year break, made him look basically to me like Conor Mcgregor did against Khabib. Very uncharacteristic of their fighting styles. BUT! Take nothing away from Izzy, shut alot of doubters up including myself. I still believe Romero and Costa beat him in dramatic fashion. But he is the first man to beat Whittaker at MW and by technical knockout too.

I was hoping Bobby Knuckles would win but I have to give Izzy respect for his striking ability and fight IQ. They were obviously very well prepared for all of Bobby's techniques. Sorry Rob but you need to add a few more variations to your attack. Let's see how Izzy goes against Costa, that fight isn't going to last long.

It's not a trilogy fight if you won both fights

Yeah but I highly doubt Gastelum could get in there again. Izzy said they caught their error immediately after that fight.

I would want winner of Gastelum/Till against Whittaker and then Yoel Vs Cannonier

No it wasn’t simple Israel just makes it look simple. Robert Whittaker is awesome and hope he gets on his feet but y’all need to give Israel adasanya his credit

You guys should look at the diary of a pro gambler guy. He convinced me to go all in on adesanya with his 2 hour breakdown. I put 15k on style bender because this guy layed it down how he had every chance to win and the dude personally said hes putting 1000s down.

I'm not too sure about that, if you look at Rob's last few fights he looked alot sharper and better. It's not like he looked awful and yes part of it was due to izzy making him miss but i still got the feeling that rob wasn't at 100%. I guess we're gonna have to wait and see if they rematch in the future.

This fight *will* happen again. Good on Izzy👍🏼 i had bobby knuckles, but he looked rusty vs Izzy... 1'st round was Rob's...... until the last 5 seconds😱. 2nd was Rob's too.... but he got caught fkn napping... Izzy's outside game won the day...

@👁️ Maybe, his blitzing style is a good way to go about it but he just didn't perform as usual so yeah i can agree with you on that one. I hope both keep winning and eventually face each other again, then all our questions will be answered.

I don't know if I agree Costa has good cardio he does for the output he puts out but after round 2 he's pretty gassed but his style only works because if the output so he would possibly get picked apart or outpointed if he takes his time in his fights and on the other hand if he keeps fighting like he does sure he can catch anyone and win but if he doesn't then round 3 he slows and God knows how he looks round 4 and 5 with someone punching him like a punching bag gassed and swinging wildly

I'm worried about the post fight comments of Whittaker and his coach after this fight. They both seem to think he was really competitive until he just "got caught". Whittaker was saying that he was really hurting Israel in the first round, and it was "the best 2 strikers in the world". It's not what you hope to hear from someone looking to improve their game, particularly from the coach. His coach said it would have been foolish to try and take Israel down because it hasn't worked for anyone else. So the plan was a repetitive lunging strike attack.. against a world class striker... but takedowns would have been foolish. Alright.

Mate, what is your view on Costa in terms of USADA and PED use? Is he ex user looking incredible or is he a hardest working individual with great genetics? He gets called PED user by Aussie fans, by Adesanya, got some form of not related to PED IV issue, looks absolutely amazing and fights not looking deflated with advanced PED program by UFC. How do you relate to those accusations? How much belive you have towards him being a speciman of a man instead of being a USADA time bomb? Fine if he looked ever deflated. But he is as jacked on weigh ins as he is outside of camp or during preparations. What are your views on his case? Coz dude gets serious now.
