@Che Guevara Khabib wasn't the first. Nate Diaz dropped him with a jab and Max Holloway dropped him with a head kick. They weren't counted, though.

Zakaii Zaki khabib does not have better stand up than Conor don’t be ridiculous. You can say khabib is the better fighter. The threat of the takedown was letting khabib land shots as you would rather be hit by khabib than be in the ground with him.

How idiotic are you Guys? Conor has a far superior stand up. Khabibs a wrestler. He played smart and got Conor tired in the first round but wresting. If he had started with stand up the first round would have been a different story and khabib may have even gotten knocked out. You are the same idiots who throw around the word “casual” in any situation but interestingly enough that word works here for you guys. Since only a casual would think a wrestler has a better ground game then an elite striker.

yeah, also his head movement its really underrated, his defense is just impenetrable, he uses his arms to defend punches and his head to avoid them in a weird but effective way, just look at his fight with poirier, theres a big demonstration of his brilliant head movement and defense 😎
Haven't enjoyed a UFC event as much since. Khabib suffocated him the entire duration. I know he's very religious, but given what he's said recently I really do think he would have tried to kill McGregor if they weren't in a cage. He did not want to let go of that neck crank
