Jon Jones wasn't nice towards DC after the first fight. Next to that, I think DC would be more of a gentleman than you'd think. I think his post-fight talk of that outcome would be focussed on a rubber match.

People who say DC was winning need to watch the fight on mute. Jon got hit with a few shots here and there but the majority of every round was Jon pot shotting DC to the legs, the body and head consistently. The commentary was very biased toward DC. They were calling shots DC didn't even land.

As a matter of fact, I'm glad to have someone at the ring like Dominic, able to tell Joe Rogan when something is effective or not. I didn't think it was biased at all. This DC was waaaaay more conservative and had a damn good game plan. He got caught, and that's it. Had it went the full 5 rounds, Jon might have won on points. But I truly felt DC was getting to Jon the first 2 rounds. Jon is younger, and so much more genetically gifted with his insane reach. Not to hate on Jon, he is the champ and he has absolutely managed to use his gifts to their fullest potential inside the octagon. But with that said, I honestly don't think he belongs in that weight class. Pack some meat on those skinny legs, and lets see him fight people of his own stature, then I'll call him the best of ALL time.

Spectacular fight and finish. Jones is definitely one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time. Hope he'll keep improving like he said he will.

After a fight, win or loose, you'll always gain respect for the other man. This is a different level of sportmanship between two of the best all time fighters of this division. Congrats to the GOAT for becoming a better man and DC with without a belt will always be a champion too.

James Freeman you are right in a sense but what he meant was, coming back like that from a dark place and winning the belt by finishing the champ ( Cruz won by close decisions ) don't get me wrong i love Cruz! But it's two different story my friend.

We can never call that KO lucky, not only is it the 2nd time for him to beat Cormier, but he's also the only one. Books are closed boys.

Jones gave a good press conference and exceeded my expectations in the fight. I'll admit, I thought the fight would be close and the judges to be more favorable to dc, so I thought D.C. was going to win. I never expected D.C. to be ko'd.

I watched the fight, it was a good fight, I had dc rounds 1 and 2, 3rd round was all jones and it was over. To me jones has a big advantage with being so long, it showed the whole fight. The 3rd round it showed that dc couldnt touch jones with his reach advantage. Overall nobody should be able to beat jones if he can fight with his reach advantage.

JJ is right to stay away from stipe, stipe would wipe the floor would JJ and to credit to JJ he knows that. Stipe is a athlete and he moves fast for a HV. if stipe catches JJ like DC his gone. JJ is freakish built gave him the W against DC, if dc and jj had the same built with their relative skill set, dc would've won. JJ has a 3 to 7 inch height advantage and a 10 to 14 inch reach advantage over everyone he fights with some Swedish whiteboy that beat the hell out of him being the exception the only guy who i feel beats or gives him a challenge is luke rockhold who walks around 215 pounds. I thought CW would've given him a challenge as well and that turned out to be so wrong

no.1 jones record should be renew. it should be written as 23 win 0 loss and 1 dq instead of 23 win 1 loss. because he is the ultimate undefeated fighter. no.2 fighting sport must not consider weight division only. for example to enter the division the fighter must be either below 215 lbs weight or below 6 foot tall height. if both fighter have same size figure. dc would win this fight.

Seth Carroll its either the fighter is 205lbs below or 6 ft 2 below. if a fighter weight is below 205lbs but 6ft 4 height he must enter another division which is 245lbs below and 6ft 6 below which meet the both requirement. dc and jon jones fight is like the strongest primary school fighter vs the strongest secondary school fighter.
