For a girl who didn't have a good education, and learned English kind of late in life, she speaks pretty well. As a Brazilian, her accent is thick even in Portuguese. But she is really a humble and kind girl...

I like Amanda..She's not a glory hound drama queen like Rousey..

There's also the fact that Ronda spent a lot of her life essentially only playing Pokemon and intensely practicing judo with a hypercritical mother. I don't think anyone could have been prepared for the pressure that came with being the first superstar female fighter, especially when everyone turned on her after her first loss. Yeah her behavior is weird but I doubt many people can understand the position she was in.

From her excitement and confidence during the interview, seeing this after knowing the result almost makes you think this positive attitude overall she has, her confidence at the time, this is why she won. Congratulations Amanda! Great job!

I respect her hugely for doing an interview with her level of English skills. I speak Spanish, French, and Russian, and I could never imagine do an interview on TV like that. Goes to show the level of courage she has in general!

The media smear campaign against Ronda is in full throttle. I don't like Ronda and I hope she loses but I hope the media(like Ariel the mermaid) realize that their reaction to Ronda's absence is equally as childish. "WAH WAH I'm not getting my Ronda interview" - Ariel "WAH WAH the media is to blame for my loss" - Ronda Both Ronda and media are childish.

Arial is a totally different guy than he used to be. Confident, well spoken, clear body language. Cool to see the passion and balls on this guy evolve him into another version of himself over the years.

I love this interview!! It’s old but there is so much wisdom from her. She knows that “words” mean nothing and she needs to show everybody. I know that feeling she has of total complete confidence that she will win (that used to be me before sprinting events. I knew without any doubt I would win and I did). She is my favourite fighter! So happy for her!

She seems to be playing the good guy then unleashing a beast on ronda. Like a mauling.

Nunes is how a champion should behave.

Amanda is such a babe.

She's so nice and relaxed and is taking it in her stride. I hope Ronda makes weight because I could see this not happening on a stupid technicality. If she does I think it could be a great fight but I'm a little worried for Amanda's ground game. Ronda has the best ground game in the business.

How can you not like Amanda? What a genuine person, unlike a certain other fighter.

When she says that night I think she's saying Dana White and when she says Dana White I think she is saying that night.

Great interview! Glad to see Amanda get some face time, she may be too tactiful and polite to say it, but her missing her first oppurtunity as champion to go through media days/interviews is kind of messed up. Also Rogan is right most of the promo's have minimal coverage for Amanda. But like she said all she has to do is go in and win and it should up her status and therefore wealth substantially. Also anyone else notice Ariel using his hands way more to kind of describe the words he's saying. Not dissing on him, I do the same thing when talking to people where English isn't their native tongue, it's almost unconscious but still kinda funny all the same.

She grew up in fighting. Her mother was a boxer. Uncles fighters in Brazilian Vale Tudo. Her sister fought - this is not new to her from a family of fighters. She's been in MMA for a very very long time and has more fights than Rousey. She's not new to this at all.

I have never seen an interviewer work so hard to get an athlete to trash talk their competitor. Gee whiz. Big ups to Nunes for staying classy and humble in the situation.

So much respect for Amanda. Its so true the UFC is all about the money and I get that but it's not always fair for the fighters or the fans. Conner Mcgreggor for example is the UFC's boy he's had his choice of fights and not always the hardest or best fighters. Very one sided like why should Rousey not have to do the media or press events for this promo? I'm starting to have some serious doubts about the future of the UFC and fights in general.
