His brother would finally get the recognition he's been fighting for, for so many years. I'm sure Nick just didn't want to be filmed if he started to get emotional. Gotta love the Diaz brothers. They have this strange fighting mentality that makes them a bit socially awkward, but jees. Years and years and years of amazing fights. The things they are able to pull off at times - even if they never touch UFC gold, they will be legends and hall of famers. I told my friend, Conor certainly could win, but if Nate shows up in beast mode, he could wreck Conor fast. And Nate showed up in beast mode, took the best Conor could give, and shut him down immediately once he hit marks. Out-fucking-standing Mr. Diaz. Fucking legendary!

    The thing I find so incredible about these two is their love for one another. Both have had ups and downs and when the one is on top the other brother lets them have their special moment, they don't try to steal the spotlight. That is such a rare thing to see. People always tend to want to out do their siblings, but these guys have such a respect for each other its such a awesome thing to see. They remind me of the brothers from the boondock saints lol Win or lose both brothers are legends and are near perfect examples of what a fighter looks like.

    Conor lost to someone who didn't even complete a full training camp. He talked a lot, wanted the fight at 170, said he can beat those in the division and lost miserably. He was screwed anyway, RDA would have mauled him and he has proven he can go 5 rounds without tiring unlike Conor who gassed in the 2nd round. Now imagine guys like Robbie Lawler, Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson. Mac's mouth is getting him into trouble. The Diaz Brothers are total badasses and always have been and it's nice to see at least one of them get their moment they worked tirelessly their whole career for.

    +Djonkie Bonk I'm happy for Nate. Always liked the Diaz brothers, they come to fight. They always end up facing the point fighters or hang on for dear life fighters that are only trying to better there rankings. I also like Conor because he always goes for the finish. His mouth doesn't get him into trouble, it gets him the fights he wants. His cardio isn't that great and he does need to work on takedown defense. That fight was fun, I hope to see more like it in the future. Enough of this Champion stays in his weight division fighting everyone he's already beat. Challenge yourself, take some risks. It's good for the fans and good for your wallet.

  • @TheRealFFS

    @TheRealFFS

    +Djonkie Bonk I agree for the most part. Conor can't compete in 170. Not now, not in 10 years. You can tell that he can't take those shots. He lost by submission, but in reality he just avoided a knock out when Nate pounded him. However, I believe that he would have beaten RDA. You have to consider that Conor had to put on a lot of weight in less than two weeks. That automatically took its toll on his cardio. He wouldn't have gassed out in round 2 against RDA.

    MIKE DEWALT mcgregor walks around as fucking light/welterweight. Thats his natural weight. He just cuts a shit ton of weight to tower above midgets in the featherweight devision and act tough guy. Nick however hardly cuts any weight to fight at 185, he had to put on a bit of weight infact to fight 205.
