From Nothing to Something to Everything. Inspiring.
"I felt when we stared down, I felt his right hand was twitching, which was a subtle tell for me. He is ready to unload that right hand and I feel that will be a downfall for him. if he lets that right hand go, I will not be there. I simply enter the way I enter, and that is enough, they either overextend or they shrink away, but either way it is not good for them. I will create traps and dead-space inside that octagon and i will walk him into that dead space, but all of a sudden he will be in danger. We will collide in the middle of the octagon and José will fall on the first exchange" - Conor McGregor

He has always been reasonable and polite with all the interviewers. What you gentlemen have you understand is that this is business and he is making money, promoting himself, taunting his opponents all day long. He is not only a remarkable fighter but also very smart and an extraordinary entertainer.
@jesse8924
8 жыл бұрын
Johnny D I understand all the promoting and taunting, and yes I know he's smart. It doesn't make "as usual very polite" a correct statement. Maybe specifically to interviewers he is, but not to other fighters.
@petriukas20
8 жыл бұрын
Henry T-Bags I agree with that, perhaps the statement is incorrect regarding him being polite all the time. In correction I would like to add precision to my comment: Polite with his interviewers. I take his taunting/impoliteness to other fighter as part of entertainment that he intentionally undertakes. Check his latest post about Jose Aldo on his FB page, he has spoken great words about him and has shown respect to the long unbeaten champion, thus proving that once the show is over he can reveal truthful feelings towards his opponent to the media. What do you think about that?
I love how Ariel understands vision and the law of attraction. Always mentions it to Conor...

+Hollow Gamer Do you know what "my man" means? It doesn't mean anything, it's meaningless slang that McGregor picked up from some 90s US films, it's something a 12 year old who doesn't understand the slang of the day would say. He also predicted Siver's 1st round KO. I wonder what happened there, hmm? Maybe Siver didn't believe the hype?

+james D Not a hater, but one who recognises that the most gifted part of Conor's anatomy is his mouth. He was able to convince you and Aldo as well that he isn't just a backwater loser from Ireland, but that he's something more than. His training and abilities are inexistent - all that he's good for is standing there like a rock-em-sock-em robot. If you put a guy who isn't afraid of him in there, he'll get KO'd very, very quickly.

there is no such thing as i told you so when it was just a 13 sec fight if it went to the 2/3 round and beat the crap out of aldo easily then you can say it connor deserves to be champ but aldo is still a dangerous opponent and can KO/sub anyone 'IF" he could catch him
The greatest who ever lived.

they both were very polite, the interviewer was very professional and polite and Mccgregors respons was very polite as well. awesome guys
He's played his hand brilliantly, hype machine, intimadator and when it's all said and done a class act. Well played sir.

Once the punch connected, Jose was knocked out. In boxing I believe McGreggor would have just waited for him to get up possibly. But in UFC, McGreggor punched and once Jose fell, he started punching to his hearts content.

+good afternoon that gets in the way of the original flavour and point of the UFC, it is a simulation where finishes mean that one man either gets actually physically broken by grappling or choked to death, or they get beaten to death, there aren't any ten counts in real life lol.

Very humble and respectful from Conor, when all is said and done, the talking is just good marketing and good business. Showed himself to be a true champion and class act here Imo.
I just feel like giving him a good hug and congratulating him on changing his life the way he did
I'm definitely a McGregor fan, but i do feel really bad for Aldo.. Although, i don't think there should be a rematch, to be honest. I want to see McGregor move on to the Lightweight division next.
He's very well spoken. Much respect to him. Great fighter.
How could you not love this guy
I swear I could listen to Conor talk for dayssssss. What an amazing story he was entering the UFC. It's like a movie! He predicted dese tings!!!
So calm in this interview
Good interview, asked the questions we wanted to be answered
conor's mental game is rock solid. He doesn't fantasize about being great, he outlines his path in great detail and manifests it. I've had it with fighters saying they want to be GOAT and then never tell you how. Conor Mcgregor is practically living a book he's writing.
You come through every single time, Ariel. You do a fine fine job. Congratulations.
from nothing to something to everything this is what conor is all about . gave me chills
Since the win over Aldo, Conor has been very kind and pleasant. He really seems to be happy and fulfilled. Congrats to him - nobody can say that he didn't earn it. He was gutsy enough to call his shots and he delivered. He has my full respect, especially when he acts like this.
This is truly amazing. Beautiful stuff in a life so dark and tough these days with scumbags and whores just the lowest forms of humans making huge amounts of money and living life to the fullest in the most spoiled, selfish and ignorant ways, it warms my heart that a human like Conor has made it and continues to be so true to himself shows huge amount of core values, belief and character. That's a role model for the greater good people, so smarten the fuck up already, he is nothing special, he is a human being a god damn good human
Much much much respect to Conor. I was a doubter at first I am sure like many others but the man has not only accomplished a miracle he has changed the UFC. People who have never seen MMA have now heard of Conor he deserves his big money contract for sure!
He's a really deep thinker. Not a typical fighter at all.
hell yea coner keep talking because its no bs if you can back it up the ufc was in need of a personality like you great job
I don't watch alot of ufc but. This guy is a real class act.
Dayum, standing quite close today arent we? GGWP McGregor, BEAST performance!
Been known this guy was special from the start of his ufc career. Beautiful fight . Did exactly wat he saidz deserves his respect
Great interview. Helwani never ceases to not disappoint me. And McGregor is such an inspiration.
KING CONOR!
Look at the cut on his eye, that's one punch from a padded glove. The fights outcome would've been a lot more interesting if the punch he landed was aimed a little lower. A double knockout would've been talked about for a while the way the hype of this fight was going. I really think this fight demands a rematch, it's only necessary. I want to see what Conor can do to him in a full round and seeing that punch Aldo landed I wanna see what he can do against Conor in a full round. Aldo faded his right and left himself open, I've never seen him do that, Conor took advantage and got the left hook in perfectly. All in all, can't wait to hear the news about they're next fight.
I am one of d loyal fans of jose aldo . Boz this great guy s a very great ufc fighter. He s too humble . For me , jose aldo s d greatest of all ufc fighters. D greatest champion on planet earth.. in d innermost depth of my heart , u r my champion jose aldo.
Ariel you lucky dog. Ariel and Conor Mcgregor have good chemistry. You can tell Ariel is a huge fan and looks up to Conor alot. And Conor likes Ariel because he asks real questions and he admires Ariel too.
chad and aldo have excellent ground game ...they even occasionally take naps.
This is a good interview. Seems like a very satisfied & proud young man... And so he should be - he's beaten some unbelievibly tough men olong the way. Interestingly though, once vacating belts are mentioned that look comes back! This kid isn't going to dodge or vacant anyone or anything! Nice to see a Champion having some time to reflect on his achievements - unlike Fury who has been hung/drawn/quartered by the Murdoch owned press.
I like this interviewer, The way he interviews makes the interviewee feel at ease :)
Man it's always good seeing fighters who didn't have nothing and now have something
There is something about him that draws me in, something about him makes me want to keep watching anything with him in it
i don't know if they on the same weight class but sage northcut is an interesting fighter
I love to meet this man. awesome guy awesome fighter. keep it going
Looking forward to this moment again after Saturday.
He's a poet as well as a fighter.
2:56 - end....amazing
Great video. Respect.
My favorite interviewer talking now to my favorite fighter
wow he seemed really nice here :) i liked both fighters and im glad conor got his win, and im also a bit sad to see aldo leave his throne, but these things happen. aldo had a good run, and conor will surely bring a lot of entertainment at the top of the division !
Very nice to see a humble, gracious Conor. Sometimes the theater of trash talking shines a negative light on him. This is great to see. Good fight, great champ.
good interview!
I've always liked McGregor...he deserves this fame. And he can back what he says up too. #McGregorAldo2OnTheWay

Congratulations to Conor. he looks pretty calm and friendly now . I guess being a champ change up he's attitude expression... Cuz this dude is Big a talker . BUT RESPECT to conor.
Loved the ko but just wished we could see a little more
I can tell Conor is very close to Ariel in the heart. Conor is looking straight directly at Ariel when he talks.
i like it. Conor seems more relaxed now he has less to prove. i actually think he is a very loyal sweet, humble person who loves his family. you hear about him reaching out to people during times of hardship. that to me is a sign of a classy person. i think we are getting to see more of the "real" Conor now. and i like what i see.
Congrats my boi. You've done it.
Hard work and belief in ones self always has one result........Success! Congrats to you and Ireland Conor it is well deserved!
