@p8chill Check Rampage's interview with Bas Rutten & he explains what he means by "fighting for money." Rampage tends to have mixed reactions after a loss: It depends on WHO he lost too (e.g. Wanderlei), if the fight was boring, and if he was in bad condition. Jones didn't rely on stalling (like Evans) and Rampage felt he was in "the best shape of his life." Since Jones called Rampage out on having "excuses" pre-fight, we shouldn't be surprised that Rampage tried to be a sportsman post-fight.

@p8chill Also, if you listen to what Jon Jones said to Rampage post-fight, it's easy to see why he wasn't as disappointed about this loss (at least not superficially)-i.e. he lost to a guy who actually looked up to him, not someone like Rashad where there was genuine beef & trash talk. Even before the matchup, the touch of gloves & stare down at the weigh-ins was an indication that a lot of the beef had more to do with misunderstandings & irritability than genuine animosity.

It don't mean bad smell. Black people used that word in songs sometimes back in the 70's its a slang word for like if something is nice or good or great. There was a song that said I'm going to funk you up. And give you some of this funky stuff. That means im going to give you some of this greatness. Thats why he said jon put some funk on him. If you know what that word means it's even funnier

Jon: everyday we sparred in practice, i know what could have happened. I didn't understand that line at first, but now that i joined a small Gym, damnnnn i see what he means. U are sparring and u see so many openings where u can drop ur opponent, but u don't cos it's "practice" Rashad acted like a kid putting Jones on blast, but oh well, he got beat so dats in the past

rampage is the best. he respects the fighters he fights. He aint sore loser. he is truely the best fighter. he was so good when he fought against Jones but it was just unfortunate.

@chingon711 i know he got beat by Jones hands down but it hasnt upset me haha no fighter should retire after 1 loss to the champion, i didnt expect Jones to be so good at keeping people at a distance but to say he should retire after 1 loss? he should have a few fights to see how he fights against other top fighters like Machida rematch? Griffin rematch? even though i think Griffin hasnt been the same after Silva knocked him out, Thiago Silva? or winner of Shogun vs Hendo?

I would love to see JDS fight Jones. He's big, great takedown defense, no slouch on the ground for all accounts and he's got great boxing with heavy hands. But hey, No one to this point in the UFC is unbeatable unless of course your name Anderson Silva. I believe someone will stun Jones, i don't think it would be Machida but stranger things have happened in the octagon.
