I know this comment old but i knew he could take a loss because he jokes at himself. The ability to joke on oneself means you are at one with it all you can give it and take it. The ego's that leave themselves excluded from all jokes or negatives usually can't take it.

Pretty much exactly what I felt. There was no denying this dude. I don't like him but who else's resume stacks up to his? Goat.
how can you dislike against Rampage.
Gotta love Rampage!!
NOTE: Much respect for Jackson. Rampage Jackson also Did a great cameo in the Horror movie "Midnight Meat Train" With Brooke Shields. He should Start doing Action Hero movies. Like Snipes and Stallone.
@CaesarThaApeGod That's exactly why i would love to see that match up.
Respect to rampage for keeping it real 💯
rua vs jones II would be great, last night was a great event
Keeping it a 💯 real!!
that's the first thought i had when i saw the title..
Crazy rampage saw the future.
@KingGreqo The thing is Jon had a few moments where he was in Rampage's range, only a couple but still.
damn, props to rampage 4 keeping it real! true classy guy that's how you be a MAN about losing.
For him to straight up say Rashad might be able to beat him really threw me for a loop. You never hear fighters say "if I couldn't do it my biggest rival might" that a whole nother level of real.
DUDE... watch the fight again. Even Rashad was bewildered by Jones talent
diaz starting at his phone until rampage said “ a lotttta money” is priceless 😂
9 years later no one can beat Jones!!
@TarkusDF except he's even more dominant, didn't think that was possible...
Rampage is a class act. I will hate it when he retires. He needs to do commentating for sure.
Always good to come back and see rampage Jackson getting humbled
Nate needs to teach his brother how to turn up to press conferences
@p8chill Check Rampage's interview with Bas Rutten & he explains what he means by "fighting for money." Rampage tends to have mixed reactions after a loss: It depends on WHO he lost too (e.g. Wanderlei), if the fight was boring, and if he was in bad condition. Jones didn't rely on stalling (like Evans) and Rampage felt he was in "the best shape of his life." Since Jones called Rampage out on having "excuses" pre-fight, we shouldn't be surprised that Rampage tried to be a sportsman post-fight.
Man, I miss rampage.
That first comment by rampage is hilarious 😆 😂 DC said Jones stinks too. What a weird game plan lol
If you don’t respect what he just said then idk... but that’s class at its finest. Most fighters make excuses or always have a reason why they lost. So much respect for rampage
11 years later and he’s the heavyweight champ and still undefeated
@robbirotta its all good bro. jones is going to hold on to that title anyways. the only person i think that can beat him is silva or machida. what u think ?
I never knew that those kicks to the knees that Jon Jones was throwing at Rampage were allowed in the UFC.Those straight front kicks to the knees could easily break someone's knee if the striker is accurate. Can someone maybe explain on this?
What did Dana say at 2:58
Nate: TV Static
jones has the best grappling in mma, but if rampage wouldve put pressure on him early and went for the ko or at least big right then taken to the ground I think he would have had a really good chance.Jones is way younger than rampage ,that too is a big factor.

rampage your the man. seriously I now see that your a good loser even though we both know your a better winner.. mad respect dude to take your loss like a MAN
@CaesarThaApeGod I'll take that as a compliment.
@p8chill Also, if you listen to what Jon Jones said to Rampage post-fight, it's easy to see why he wasn't as disappointed about this loss (at least not superficially)-i.e. he lost to a guy who actually looked up to him, not someone like Rashad where there was genuine beef & trash talk. Even before the matchup, the touch of gloves & stare down at the weigh-ins was an indication that a lot of the beef had more to do with misunderstandings & irritability than genuine animosity.

James Harrell Thank you so much for replying me, but I'm not American so tell me what he means by funk, I checked the Urban dictionary and it's said to be a foul odor. Is he trying to say Jones has a foul smell?

@broncosinclair9992

It don't mean bad smell. Black people used that word in songs sometimes back in the 70's its a slang word for like if something is nice or good or great. There was a song that said I'm going to funk you up. And give you some of this funky stuff. That means im going to give you some of this greatness. Thats why he said jon put some funk on him. If you know what that word means it's even funnier
Jon: everyday we sparred in practice, i know what could have happened. I didn't understand that line at first, but now that i joined a small Gym, damnnnn i see what he means. U are sparring and u see so many openings where u can drop ur opponent, but u don't cos it's "practice" Rashad acted like a kid putting Jones on blast, but oh well, he got beat so dats in the past
rampage is the best. he respects the fighters he fights. He aint sore loser. he is truely the best fighter. he was so good when he fought against Jones but it was just unfortunate.
the only thing i didint expect is that jones would finish em for the rest eything happened like i thought it would rampage not being able to find his target looking tired hes so predictible but i still somehow hopin page would win but gotta stay realistic

@chingon711 i know he got beat by Jones hands down but it hasnt upset me haha no fighter should retire after 1 loss to the champion, i didnt expect Jones to be so good at keeping people at a distance but to say he should retire after 1 loss? he should have a few fights to see how he fights against other top fighters like Machida rematch? Griffin rematch? even though i think Griffin hasnt been the same after Silva knocked him out, Thiago Silva? or winner of Shogun vs Hendo?
I would love to see JDS fight Jones. He's big, great takedown defense, no slouch on the ground for all accounts and he's got great boxing with heavy hands. But hey, No one to this point in the UFC is unbeatable unless of course your name Anderson Silva. I believe someone will stun Jones, i don't think it would be Machida but stranger things have happened in the octagon.
