@@ozankuram2921 There are some big coincidences here because I compare this season to the ones in 1991-92. This was the first season that a competition has the group stages, but also the last one under the European Cup name. The 2023-24 season was the last one to feature the group stages. Even though the Champions League name still remains intact, people still call it "the last season of old Champions League" because the next season uses the "Swiss mini-league" format for all 3 European competitions. In addition, both finals of 1992 European Cup and 2024 Champions League were held at Wembley Stadium, with the next year's finals being held at Munich (Olympiastadion in 1993 and Allianz Arena in 2025).

2009 and 2011 are special. Love the 2 cellos in 2018 as well.

As City fans, 2023 opening gave me goosebumps. Although City seems superior than Inter, the piano gave chills and uneasy feeling, after that we saw Inter outplayed City in the first half.

Don't question it, because that 2009 final was one of the greatest match. The beginning of GOAT rivalry (Messi vs Ronaldo). But I'm still prefer 2023 anthem as the best one.

@@Contextualiser16-tn8nd Fun Fact: The singer of 2009 and 2016 anthems were same (Andrea Bocelli), even though there is a differences regarding the anthem's arrangement, where 2016 is much slower than 2009.

Great video. You even posted the official programme posters for each finals, which can be seen in the Wikipedia (just search with the keyword "Champions League Final"), as well as the anthems from 2003 till 2006. As you may know on, there were only 2 anthems that regarded as the best: the 2009 final (because it's Andrea Bocelli mixed with one of the Gladiator's soundtrack and the final was regarded as the most epic, considering it's Messi vs Ronaldo) and the 2023 one (because it was the first time that the anthem was rearranged in the modern organ and even doesn't contain the original version of the song with this remix). I guess this anthem should be rearranged to fit the country's traditional culture similar to how Russian had remixed this song with Soviet choirs. England must remixed this song for 2024 final at Wembley with the traditional British bearskin soldiers (King's guardsmens).

Thanks for the appreciated, so yh this years's final was finally performed after 4 years absence and this time was different version than what we heard because before was just the original champions league theme and some instruments and singers but now it was an different a lot just playing the piano and some instruments from the theme.

@@LegendaryChampionsYT Oh yeah, and forgot to mention I noticed big differences for the final anthems. The 2003 final is the earliest time the anthem was performed by special vocals, not the 2009. When I watched the video about the 2003 final, you might realize that there are 4 or 5 singers performing this anthem behind Juventus and Milan players during the pre-KO. The 2004-2006 final anthem uses the generic one without special instruments and vocals, but reused the older anthem from 1993 to 2002. Asking about the trophy celebration songs: 1.2003-2006: Uses the anthem's main chorus. 2.2007: Don't know about this. 3.2008: Modified version of Ode to Joy (Symphony No.9) by Beethoven was played instead of the actual anthem. 4.2009-2012: Uses the same anthem with special vocals and modified instruments during the appropriate final (Eg: Bocelli in 2009). 5.2013-2017: Uses the classic, pre-recorded version of the anthem. 6.2018-Now: Uses the modern version of the anthem (Doesn't exist in 2022 final).

@@ezraezra2928 The vocals for the 2003 final was done by a Opera/Pop group called Amici Forever. Also 2003 wasn’t the first time Vocals were done in a UCL Final. The first time it was done was in 1996.

Interesting Fact: The same anthem was also used during the trophy celebration as well, not the original one. I think UEFA should restore this kind of anthem back instead of playing the generic anthem without special vocals.

I spent 22 minutes watching all the anthems from 2003-2023 was it worth? Yes it had memories in them

2020 will always be special to me . The champions where the underdogs reached quarter finals , the death of Barcelona , Bayern with assassin instinct and Arturo Vidal crying in the corner
