Footage recorded in Randalstown in Co. Antrim at the parade & dedication service to mark the unveiling of the UDR Memorial in the 'Royal British Legion Randalstown Branch Memorial Garden' on Sunday 16/04/2023. On parade on the day was the band of the 'Royal Irish Regiment' plus Staffordstown Accordion Band, many ex-UDR members & various dignitaries including the Lord Lieutenant and other guests. This video also contains a photo gallery at the end showing just some of the photos taken on the day.

@plats6741 the UDR only has 8 civilian deaths attributed to it of which all soldiers responsible where held accountable Meanwhile sinn fein tries to forget the 100s of civilians who died at the hands of their terrorist wing. Of which none held themselves responsible

My mum served in udr.10 malone road i think it was the green finches respect to all those who served and shall never forget them

Lest we also forget the innocent people slaughtered as a result of collusive actions right? We won't forget them as well, right? I'm genuinely not looking to get into sectarian mud slinging btw

@@onlyfourhomenations fair enough. I'm no fan of the UDR as a nationalist, and see them as a continuation of the B Specials. But I also acknowledge that NI is a contended space, with more than one narrative that needs to be shared.
