Love seeing the F-101 Voodoo and the F4 Phantom II, those were wonderful years for jet development in America.
Went TDY to Udorn from TSN in '69. Birds moved cause expected TET.
Went to Udorn TDY in spring of 66' from Tan Son Nhut and saw a 101 crash on landing. Later that day we also crashed in jungle on a Jolly Green Help. I guess it was a bad day for aircraft crashes.
You guys should see these places now.. I follow some KZread videos like notimetobsad tours all these places I was at Korat 73 place is huge and beautiful city now…😊😊take care brothers..
Great footage, passed thru Tan Son Nhut in Nov 66 enroute to DaNang. There are also shots of C-46 takeoff at 11:45 & 30:45.
Unique MC-130E with Fulton recivery system at 20:58 !
The voodoos would hall ass thru areas that had been bombed and took pictures. That gave them views on what had been hit and what hadn't.
If only the archive these videos came from had sound :(

please fix your tittle. Its called Tân Sơn Nhất ! Google if you do not believe me ! Its very offensive when you get the wrong NAME !

I am a member of the Tan Son Nhut Association, and their Associate Chaplain. I was stationed there with the 45th Tactical Recon Squadron flying the RF-101C. The name is correct: Tan Son Nhut RSVN. NOT Tan Son Nhat.
