    he did a lot of sacrifice for miami one of it is his contract bosh and lebron signed 6 yrs 110.1m and dwade signed a contract worth 107m but UD was expected to have a 35m contract but miami cannot offer him that at a time cuz of the big 3 they decided to offer him a 20m instead ud accepted that offer because he knows its for the big 3 to form

    Again, the last guy on the bench on an NBA team is on a minimum contract and does not play. UD was that guy when he couldn’t contribute on the court anymore. The man was not taking up a crucial roster spot and he was not on a max contract to sit on the bench. Why not have a 15th man who offers a veteran presence in the locker room? He actually offered value at that spot for his off the court stuff.

    He meant a lot to the Heat. Unless you are a fan of the Miami Heat you probably don’t know what he has done. To outsiders you might think he is just some bench warmer but he was incredibly important during the Heat’s 1st ring. He defended Dirk in 2006 finals well and on the other end he also knocked down key shots in the mid range area. More importantly, when the big 3 was formed, they didn’t have enough cap space but he chooses to stay with the Heat for less. Places like Dallas offered him bigger contracts but he simply refused because he was loyal to the Heat.
