Could be a reference to Perinheri. There was an orphan named Angelica who was supposedly a princess of a nation. But, the nation was essentially defeated by Deus Auri, also known as Rex Lapis. So her not being shown in Liyue could be a personal grudge of hers.

Even tho im not a fan of edm at all it doesnt sound bad in hsr

I feel like another thing other than the quantum black hole in the background that's similiar to what Skirk could produce is the music for her trailer feels similar to the narwhaal music when we get swallowed by it, so Arrlechino could have some connections to Skirk and her master or something else beyond Teyvat entirely.

I've noticed how Hoyo uses techno beats to represent an otherworldly presence or power. Do you think her power is a bit out of this world, as in it's not normal in Teyvat? She also fought "Mother" without a vision, at least I didn't see her carry one throughout that fight. There may be a chance that she's either a descender, a child of a descender, or a descendant of a descender. That's my guess.

I agree with you. I also think Hoyo uses techno to make us hear not just see, a power that isn't normal in Teyvat. Similar to how the second half of the Whale Boss fight isn't from Teyvat at all. It's completely different from Teyvat's normal music convention. It's an announcement a signal that something is different. Similar to how Skirk's design is completely different from everyone else's in Genshin. That's including Dainsleif and the Unknown God. They all fit into the world This Skirk's design and this music style doesn't quite fit in.

Holy.. actually i might just agree with best demo, even though that's a pretty hard title. As someone who loves amvs and similar editing related stuff the editing was SO good. It's hard to actually put it into words. Also 2:02 was such a BANGER drop, i wish it lasted longer. 10/10 demo

I've been hoping and waiting for this day since 'A Winter Night's Lazo' dropped back before Sumeru. Everything since has just been a bonus. Father is coming home tonight; there will be no stopping until this mission is accomplished. But, if she's this cool kit-wise and they went THIS hard for #4 of the Harbingers... just imagine Columbina, Dottore or Capitano if they're playable. Or heck, even farther into the future, imagine if Skirk or Sustainer become playable. I said it back when Fontaine came out that modern 4 star demos surpass release 5 star demos in terms of quality. Just imagine 2 - 3 years down the line!

Tomorrow is 4/24/2024, the 4th harbinger is coming and I'm ready!

Its amazing her music has a very alien and foreign feeling with sounds that would feel jarring and discomforting like children. Similar to the feeling of the Narwhal fight. Something alien with whale sounds mixed in that give you that feeling of unease.

Hoyoverse loves her. And oh boy, so do I, a lot. (And the beatdrop was *chef kiss*)

I'm glad I didn't watch any leaks or even the special program for her. This demo is the first time I saw her abilities. The experience for me was unreal. Her abilities intrigue me though. Her pyro doesn't look like the pyro for the other characters. I've never seen them do this for an element b4

It would make more sense if it was the Crimson Moon that occurred in Khaenri'ah.

Its just my opinion but even tho the trailer was cool and there are some good references for Perinheri too it still felt like and underwhelming trailer for a character like Arlecchino. Once again, NOT a bad trailer. As a lore person i appreciate all litte details and references i can get but yes, i'd still say most of their work and love went to animation and teaser. The teyvat language text was also interesting which needs to get translated but nevertheless i'm sure her quest will be great regardless

I disagree that alercchino is training the children to deal with the world . That is simply the side effects of her job as the leader. You could say anyone who use child soilder as morally gray because the training is beneficial to the kids . A company can treat their employees well but that doesn't mean that their intention is to train you to deal with the world. If you don't produce result, you will be on the chopping board and get kick out.

I didn't really like the EDM tho but the animation is masterpiece

Same here. I think visuals and animation is as great as always. Although, they might've used EDM for lore purposes cause we don't usually get EDM/Dubstep music often in Genshin.

visual? 100% agree. music? i dont feel "genshin" at all idk why. the music is too honkai-ish in terms of music this is my least favorite fontaine character demo so far. Maybe it's because I'm too spoiled by genshin with traditional and orchestral mixed music.

The music was good..... but not the "best" demo. Neuvilette and Furina still has the best demos

Hot take ig but I didn't liked it 💀 The soundtrack was kinda meh (I might like it more after listening a few more times tho) and all those visuals and effects were too much for my eyes to handle😭. Ik it will probably never happen but I would really appreciate if hoyo could just put a warning before the demo if there's this kind of visuals, many people can't handle it well Can't wait to pull for *the* daddy!
