Ikr that is the conversation I have with my parents sometimes too 😂 And I’m 22 lol. And let’s not forget the wide eyed stares your family members who see your collection give you and they’re like “omg you must have every LEGO set ever” when in reality it’s a tiny tiny fraction of them even tho you’ve got like dozens and dozens of sets 😂

The start of the video when you get in the door, priceless! I have had that happen to me on a few occations. The UCS Shuttle is one of the sets I really wish to get for my collection. I would show it in the same position as you have chosen, I think that is about the only way to show it in all its glory.

Number one bucket list set... nice!

Amazing display set, I dream to own this one day!

Using a lot of pieces from my collection I was able to build it for around $200. I think even if you have to buy all the pieces from bricklink it's still cheaper to piece it together.

and you can get new, white pieces, on used sets, most of the time, they are all yellowed.

One of my favorite sets i have! Now you just need Cavegods UCS Sandcrawler 😁! It's massive and probably the hardest moc ive ever built. Keep up the great work!

Such a great set. Im currently building the custom UCS Brickvault imperial shuttle, 5,692 pieces. Comes with a decent interior as well.😃 I can't wait to finish.

You made the right choice!! I bought mine when it came out and still love looking at it in my office. Don’t display it with the wings up, always down if it is going to be displayed for a long period of time. I’m going to order the led light kit for it.. I don’t have any videos up yet but you start soon.

A UCS Imperial Shuttle. Just what every wife wants to kick off the new year!

Nice video. The only other lego youtuber that I can think of that got the imperial shuttle recently would be Bricksie who was surprised with it from a group of his fans when his channel hit 50k in subscribers.

My favorite Lego Star Wars set - pride of my collection. Unfortunately, it's displayed in the landing position exactly because of the size constraints you mentioned. "This is the big one" Bwahahhaha! BTDT.

The playset size shuttles like the Imperial, Krennics, Palpatines and Kylos display great together, the bad batches shuttle is next.

Yes to new UCS Shuttle!!! Also UCS Vader Bomber!!

I bought one with sealed bags, but open box about 8 months ago for $565 before taxes on eBay. Have yet to build mine as I don’t have the space on my shelves as of now. Can’t wait until I have finally have the room, but also have the UCS X-Wing, Sandcrawler, Falcon and soon ISD to build as well 🤦🏻‍♂️

My wife is the same way and I have the same "uhhhhh" reaction when asked about price. lol

I think a column of trans-clear 2x2 round bricks (or something similar) under the middle of the model when in landing gear mode would eliminate the stress on the frame.

I think the placement is pretty bad I think the job of a display shelf is to have a neat area to display things adding the shuttle makes everything feel overly cluttered.

During my youth, my dad and I were frenimies whenever it was jigsaw puzzle time. We kept them going pretty much year round.

I picked up this ship, death start, 5 other star wars big lego sets, and 4 indian jones...4 pairs of shoes....300 bucks.

I am so glad I am not a Star Wars fan so don't have to worry about all these big expensive sets. Now if they had Star Trek, then I would be broke. lol

I think I prefer the smaller 2015 set. It’s a much more playable size with all the same features.

It looks great, but jeeeeez $635?! Hard no for me haha. My wallet is quite thankful that I am not very interested in Star Wars LEGO.

Good call on that. once this city rebuild is done I think this would be a good one to do. Josh was not available for this build, but he will be on for Ninjago City Gardens when he gets home from school.

Original price on this set is $260. Used on Bricklink is minimum $600+.
