this is the best video ever, for those of us that were at uconn when we won the championship this video brings back great memories. it sends chills up my spine just watching it. i love the music too, i could watch this video all day long.

This is a fantastic team. They were so athletic and flashy in the backcourt and had okafor down low. Amazing.

This team was fantastic, just the right mix of sturdy veterans and exciting young players. It's not every year you have the likes of Josh Boone and Charlie Villanueva as freshman contributors. The depth on this team was insane.

I have to agree with you on that, but I feel if the 1999 team was the best out of the two championship teams so far. 1999 team was just spectacular.

Totally agree. This team was tough to beat not only from an Athletic stanpoint but from a Psychological one as well. Even when down by 10 or 14 to Duke, I never felt this team would Lose that game. Duke can cry about some late calls, but they are the King of collecting them as well, and if they were better than Ucon, they should have won up by 12 at 1 point. This team could score so fast as well. They rebounded very well, and were all around just a force to recon with.

That UCONN/DUKE FINAL FOUR Match-up was seriously an incredible game to this day.

For being a #2 seed in this Tournament, this team Athletically reminded me alot of 1990's UNLV with Larry Johnson, Augmon, Anthony and co. The only difference though, UNLV would have beaten Ga Tech by 40, whereas Uconn only won by 9. Technically Uconn won by more, but you know what I mean.

Not many Title Games have been that good recently. The best which I can remember was 1993 UM/UNC, 1994 Arkansas over Duke, 1997 UofA great game although the OT period was not that exciting, 99 Uconn over Duke, 2003 between Cuse and KU was alright but only the very end was close. '08 Memphis/KU was great and 2010 Duke/Butler was a good one. The Mich/Louisville was good just too bad the game got away from UM in the last 5 minutes. The others not all that good. Uconn should have won by at least 20.

Duke are the Yankees of the NCAA...around every year enough to be an annoyance, but can't close it out. UConn's championships in '99 and '04...went through Duke both times, a team which I believe lost in the 1st round last year?? Sorry UConn's entire starting 5 got drafted in '06...4 in the 1st round. And 2 years later, still staring at a 3 or 4 seed. I'll take it

UNLV of the early 90's were the best team, and did not win the Championship in 91. Should have. Duke had to be great for just 1 game, they were, UNLV played anything but great, only lost by 2. The 1990 or 91 UNLV teams I still feel would beaten anybody. The teams which would have given them a run were 2004 Uconn, 2007 Gators, 2009 UNC, UK 2012 Maybe, Maybe 2001 Duke ( though that Duke team trailed 2 or 3 times by over 20 points and would not have been that lucky against those UNLV teams).

uconn has beat duke last like 4 or 5 x the two have met duke cant pull it out in big games against uconn

this years team has potential, but nowhere near this o4 team. Gordon and Okafor were more mature and talented than Price and Thabeet. The whole team was more solid. Josh Boone, Charlie Villanueva, Taliek Brown, Marcus Williams, Rashad Anderson, and Denham Brown. One of if not the best college basketball teams of all time IMO.

Give the kid a break. Okafor nad Armstrong weren't too great starting out. Remember Donny Marshall. He took 2 years to blossom. Being tall isn't a gaurantee to greatness. Center is tough to learn.
