Well, that is because the Olympic Games is played with professionals and some people hit the ball so hard and fast, it sounds like a gunshot and you can’t see it due to how fast it is moving or how fast it is spiked.

Scheme GD not even close any men’s college team could beat a women’s Olympic team. Women play on a net that’s half a foot shorter. They could potentially be more skilled but their athleticism is lackluster compared to the men’s game

Damn. What a game. Both teams were balling out. The ref was VERY questionable on many obvious calls. Other than that, great game.

If you look closely the libero and number 23 are bumping into each other, I think the ball hit the libero first and then number 23 minimal, which means the guy saving the ball had to bring the ball over the net, but he didn't, therefore the ref called four touches. I also think, that the UCLA players would have protested against this desicion, if this wasn't the case.
