I like this coach a lot, she opened the interview with accountability and then spoke strongly about what went right and went wrong with her team,

I'm an LSU fan but I have to say this UCLA was a great team and these girls seem like great athletes and great leaders for there team. I always feel for the teams that lose. I am pulling for my team but it always hurts to get this close. And them having to face the press after seems like torture, I kind of hate it.

A few minutes doesn’t define anyone. These girls, on all these teams, are so much more than one win or one loss. All that matters is that we respond, learn, help each other with the next challenge.

Reporter, you misrepresented what Angel said after being asked a loaded question that would have created beef against the UCLA coach. She clearly said that this coach just said "good game", that someone else said something.

I love coaches that don’t make excuses! This girl is about that and it’s refreshing

I just want to say that UCLA should not be complaining about the officiating at all. Their best player committed over the foul limit midway in the 3rd qtr. The lady official whistle only worked against LSU the entire 1st half. And Coach Close seemed to be begging for the official to make a call that did not have any effect on the game being played on the floor. To go through the line at the end of the game like she did was petty. Maybe your players going 7-32 on 3pts played a big part? If Kim Mulkey did that, how would the conversation be framed?

I really expected more out of UCLA guards today especially Rice and Osborne . I predicted LSU would win but their guards was way way off , LSU has a superior athletes like SC .

UCLA seemed to forget that they have Lauren Betts on their team. They shot way too many 3 pointers(32), when they should have been working harder at getting it inside to Betts. Also, since LSU has almost no bench, why didn't Kiki and Charisma drive the lane more often to try to pick up fouls and get LSU in foul trouble? UCLA's not one of the best 3 point shooting teams, so I don't know what they were thinking.

Ke Ke Rice is a damn good point guard too. I could imagine how great LSU would be with a point guard like her.

I agree.

The women’s game has grow and has more star power than ever. However, the LOW IW play that I’ve witnessed across the board in this round is mind.boggling UCLA shot 4 times as many 4’d and ZRefusrf to give Betts the ball and force shots almost warrants a point shaving investigation Saw the same kind of stuff in the Indians and SC game Too man blow outs will cause this type of dumb play. Coaches have to do better in these situation. I As a basketball fan, I couldn’t enjoy watching a team switch up their game plan so easily and then to watch other players force their way on to the stage playing hero ball. Dad….
