Most people don't understand that modern universities runs like a business. When classrooms and libraries are being taken over, other students won't be able to access them. When that money stop flowing in, that's a problem. If this is a peaceful protest, get a proper space that doesn't impede others from learning, get a proper permit for it. Without permits, protests can only be conducted on public streets or on sidewalks, as long as marchers don't obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. These students clearly don't know the laws of conducting a legal protest in the United States.

There are guidelines to legal protests you know. Camping in a school, courthouse, etc is illegal. Blocking the flow of traffic without dedicating an alternate route is illegal. Beating up and calling to exterminate Jews is illegal. I agree on the right to protest but not the right to impede people's freedom of movement and illegal activity while doing so.

Fortunately Santa Ana Jail and OC jail is right next door. They will have to do the loop. If only they could have been arrested on Friday, then all weekend in jail. I disagree, Hamas is the initial perpetrator of evil with the attack, killings, rapes, and taking of hostages. That cannot be disputed. If Jordan and Egypt wanted to take in these radicals they could have immediately condemned the measured responses from Israel and opened diplomatic channels to provide for refugees to seek asylum. However, nobody wants that poison in their country. It's really unfortunate that the US recognized Hamas as a legitimate political entity and not the terrorists organization they truly are in fact. That decision is directly responsible for the plight of moderate Muslims living in the Gaza Strip which allowed Hamas to come to power. I watched the celebration of liberated criminals returned to Gaza from Israel by the populace and their parades on the news. It was sickening. I understand that not everyone is a hamas terrorist or sympathizer and children should be cherished and without blame. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Hamas has sowed the seeds, and Gaza is owed the results they have reaped.

If the Gaza war is a genocide then why did Jordan defend Israel last month from an Iranian attack? Why do 6 Arab countries still have peace treaties with Israel?? Why is Saudi Arabia saying that they will still normalize relations with Israel? Why won't Egypt open their border to Palestinians??? You are a vicious liar/ THERE IS NO GENOCIDE IN GAZA!!!

Correct. People need to look up the definition of genocide. The Nazis against the Jews=genocide. Israel against Hamas terrorist regime=not genocide. There, I fixed it. Genocide is the act of trying to eliminate an entire people group based on nationality, ethnicity, race or religion. Israel just wants to remove the Hamas terrorists. Once complete, there will be no further action against Palestinian civilians. The Palestinians on the other hand, have it IN THEIR GOVERNMENTAL CHARTER to destroy the entire nation of Israel (=genocide). BTW, the protesters’ chant in the video was “40,000 dead”. Apparently they didn’t see the news this week that the (corrupt) UN themselves admitted that the death toll has been over exaggerated by 2x! In any case, if Hamas didn’t use civilians as human shields in schools, hospitals etc., that number would be much lower.
