UC Berkeley team tests portable harvester device to pull water out of air
A UC Berkeley team tested an experimental device on the Death Valley floor that is best described as a portable water harvester. The team hopes this portable water harvester can impact populations in the most drought-stricken corners of the planet. abc7ne.ws/3YsDXVB

this is such a great discovery. Hopefully it can be easily scaled up

Really? Observe any air conditioner (cooling unit) you will see water forming. FROM!! THIN!! AIR!!!
This is really cool. Major respect to the chemists who developed the mof
If I am correct, this is not the first device of its kind to be invented. About two years ago someone created a similar device that did the same thing. Imagine an upscale device such as this obtaining water 💦 to irrigate Central Valley farmland. Great invention for water 💧 starved California.
Love it ! But dose not it steal water from where is it most needed to be shared? No hate but it's a lot like having air-conditioning in Phoenix

Yeah, you're not crazy they have discovered nothing new ,and put it on the news
Has Thunderfoot debunked this yet?
I have a dehumidifier that pulls gallons of water out of the air in my apartment per day.

Me too but it doesn't work without being plugged into the wall. This does

Try running it at the bottom of Death Valley, see how much water you get. That should help you understand the difference.
Basic physics and thermodynamics touted as NEW!! AMAZING!!
