This guy is genuinely appreciative of a product people worked hard on, as opposed to the smugs over at CNET
Watched a Taiwan TV series with this robot in it called "V-Focus. That one had speech, facial recognition and a self learning function. Fully interactive.
Thank you I just got 2 cheap off fb.. Great video

My dog would just knock him down and start chewing on its head. I think its great but its a time wasting toy unless you're really into robotics. Very expensive toy.
I tried your tips and it still doesn't work it keeps on saying syncing failed!!

exactly. Until they can build a robot that can go to the fridge to bring me a beer then these robots are nothing but toys, and I had one of them in the 80s

Dan Goodbad to be honest, I feel as though we should be FAR more advanced technologically in 2017, but I think the more technology we create, the more time we waste playing with instead of advancing our species

not compulsory to be toys
@joanofarc33

I disagree. We are actually quite technologically advanced its just that its not possible to target consumers right now with robotics that are too expensive to manufacture for the average consumer. This toy being reviewed is nearly $500 and its only a limited action toy. Imagine how much it would cost to have a true home robot that can actually fulfill useful tasks?
Lost me at an hour of battery life
YAWN, it's not anA.I.
Is this what Steve Hawkins means about artificial intelligence taking over the world I’d kick in the head no problem

UBTech went under because they could not find a real programmer. It must be so embarrassing missing the fundamental. SPARE PARTS...I turned this junk into something special via Arduino.
A cool toy for male teenagers with parents, that are millionaires. Nothing more. I really love robots but that one is NOT intelligent after having seen this 'review'. You can animate it. Nothing more. That has nothing to do with intelligence. It is a remote controlled toy, no autonomous behavior. It has no sensors besides the required ones for its balancing. It has no speaker, no speach recognition. No interaction with its environment. I am really sure, it will get boring after 2 hours.

Peter Müller I’m not a fanboy of this or anything but just tell me have you seen any robot less than 600 dollars that has multiple sensors, a huge body that copies human actions, Real developing behaviour. The ANWSER is obvious. No. This is decent for what you get, a speaker , a movable body, and actions
