Ubon Ratchathani (Thailand) Japanese Prisoner of War Camp and Airstrip

Towards the end of World War II the Japanese transferred 3,032 Allied Prisoners of War from the Thai Burma railway (also known as the Death Railway) in western Thailand to Ubon Ratchathani in the northeast. This is a video of the camp site and the airstrip the Prisoners built as it looks today. Ubon was the last camp before the Prisoners were liberated after three and a half years of Japanese incarceration.
