Has anyone ever tried "Fighting" an American Bison? I sure there a couple around that have an evil temper. I have seen them do some wicked stuff from the back of a horse. Wicked meaning in this case - change directions, stop, start, really quick.

What a way to learn a very demanding and dangerous job, easy to see where others make mistakes like deaking the same way. These guys are pretty insane.

And the whistle supposedly signals the steer to stop charging? I never heard a whistle stop anything we ever had.

I think the whistle is mainly for the steers benefit…whistle blows to tell the bullfighter to give the animal a blow or to exit arena
