Uberti 1860 Army Conversion

Shooting blackpowder is a lot of fun but traditionally time consuming and can take a lot of cleanup. Converting your reproduction revolver with the help of Taylor's & Company can solve these issues.

China Grove NC here. Love BP revolvers ever since I got my first from EMF through the mail way back in 1976, an 1860 Army brass frame .44. I have the same basic setup for my Uberti 1851 Navy "London" model in .36 caliber. This allows me to shoot .38 specials (my reloads) using the conversion cylinder. I purchased my revolver and the conversion cylinder at he same time from MidwayUSA. Great fun!

John W i have one for my Pietta Navy too. Unfortunately, the bore for .36 is too wide for the rifling to grab the .38 spl (or .38 long colt in my case) round so accuracy is not that great. Unless you get heeled bullets or shoot hollow based wadcutters

Also gives me a reason to pick up another set of pistols! My first 38 Special (S&W K-15 Combat Masterpiece) revolver was purchased when a friend gave me a box of ammo. Needed SOMETHING to shoot that ammo with!
