This is the very first reggae song I listened to, and began enjoying reggae at 9, learning to ride my bycicle with a battery radio on the basket, thanks to UB40 :)

one of the best memories of my dad is singing along to this with him while driving around in his van. RIP old man!

Ali is actually one of the great reggae singers of all time. Doesnt matter what colour he is or where he's from his voice is authenticly reggae and flawless. UB40 are by far the most succesful reggae group in the world..ever!

WHAT I REMEMBER BEST with UB40 from my childhood is me and my Mom leaving for her best friends house, cranking up UB40 while they smoked cigarettes and drank red wine. And they had this special finger dance to the raggae-tunes :-) GREAT

Its amazing that a country 150 miles long and 50 miles wide can inspire such beautiful music, without a doubt Jamaica is the cultural capital on the western hemisphere, her culture, her people, her music and the diverse geographical landscape makes her the envy of many countrys of better financial means......truly amazing

I remember UB40 being one of those bands that I had grown up with (due to having a fan for a dad). Now that I am older, I can truelly appreciate their music properly. Had some good times with them in tow.

I'm sorry to say this type of music is a thing of the distant past. But it will always be alive and well in my heart and ears!

I am 21 years old and i listen to this song every single day as long as i can remember. what's so amazing is that my parents where listening this song when they where my age. Song brings tears to my eyes. I miss Jamaica bad. I don't know the era of pulling into the harbor on a ship.... But when you fly in over the mountains and see Caymanas and then Port Royal and see the city - especially at night - is warming of the heart for me.
