But the corrupt people are the ceo giving themselves 40% plus raises while they are already making 20 million plus a year salary. But they do nothing to build the product they are getting paid for.

Most of time the car price has nothing to do with the labor cost. They are fooling you and try to make you blame the workers. Without a robust a middle class, there is no future for America at all! No customers and no market, do you really think 1% rich people is going to hold up all the economy, consumption, and business? Who those people is trying to sell the cars to as many of American is close to broke? This fight is actually helping the long term stability of America and the business, the business is too short sighted and they can't see far and long. The current economy, outsourcing and society model is not going to last!

Hell this one rule puts several union breaking business out of business. The Biden guy sounds nuts but Biden legit has been the most labor friendly president of our lifetime. If there is any tip I think they should hold more American flags. It's something the strikers of the early 20th century found out. If you hold up flags it makes it much more difficult for the right to demonize strikers as "traitors" or "people who hate our country". The most powerful tool the right has is patriotism, it was true in 1923 and it's true today. They also used the same argument to demonize the civil rights movement. That resisting the elite of the country means you want to destroy the country.

Not what's important for all of us. Big media is serving big money. Serving the shareholder. The shareholder doesn't pay their fair taxes. My comment is for anyone who has made a comment about unions being corrupt or any negative comment about unions. Do you know its because of unions most people have a 40 hour a week job. Because of unions you get breaks and lunchtime at your jobs. Because of unions you have health and safety laws and standards. You don't have to be a union member to understand but you have been given some of the things at your jobs because of unions.

The big 3 corporate greed is truly unreal. They have refused to hire temporary workers full-time and give them vacation, better health care, hourly rate above 25 dollars an hour. They make 17.00 an hour and most have worked there for over 5 years. They don't receive any kind of bonuses that the companies claim they pay. People who are considered tier 2 dont make top wages have top benefits. They don't have a pension plan. Im a uaw hourly worker. We don't have a nurse or medical care on night shift. The company turns off the heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer time to save money. In the meantime we are becoming ill, injuries. The workers work 40 plus hours a week and tear our bodies up physically and management tear down us mentally. Since my 29 years employment I have had surgeries on both hands, my knee and my back (which is now failed back surgery syndrome) I also have problems with my feet and varicose veins on both legs that now have to be medically treated.

What it boils down to is the corporations send cars and trucks to other countries for assembly, and still raise prices even though production cost are down. The People that 30+ years seniority only seen a 3% increase while inflation is damn near 15% in 2023 and the Cumulative price change when compared to 40 years ago is 272%…meaning the $30 per hour is worth 272% less than what is was in 1980. Now add that to the GM CEO making $200,000,000 a year while saying that can’t afford to pay workers cost of living.

One question I would like to ask... Why is it not more discussed, the fact that if workers (not just UAW) everywhere were paid more in this economy, that they would actually be able to comfortably purchase these products (all 3 companies), and that the money made from those sales would just return to the companies anyway? This is a question I've asked many... and they just go silent.

What I discovered is that nobody I vote for is coming to save me. I unregistered to vote due to the fact that everyone in government has to sign AIPAC's loyalty oath to Israel and no one gets into positions of power unless they are completely controllable. Democrats are Marxist Communists and Republicans are Corporate Communists. They both shit out of the same hole. Government is a privately chartered corporation since 1871, and then along comes the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. The fish rots from the head down.
