Golden years of the UAAP 93'-96'

This is the finals of the 54th uaap mens basketball tournament PRUST vs adamson

UST finished the season with a 14-0 record which made them automatic champions. After this season the Final 4 format was implemented.

Ken..please dont resort to insulting ateneo with such filthy slurs. We all know why ust changed their names from goldies and nuggets to tigers and tiger cubs because they were synonimous to poop..😅

Kenneth was very well-respected by opponents kaya from the onset yung defensive formation sa kanya talagang collapsable. lahat naka-trigger pag siya na ang may hawak ng bola

few days before this game some four unidentified men who were in their fourties at noon time entered the Adamson Publication ,the only office opened then during noon time break. They were asking for 30 thousand pesos in exchange for Adamson U victory . Nobody then had that money and they thought it was just a joke. Then when Adamson lost to UST then we realized it was not a joke.

Iba pa siguro rules nun, add'l incentive for the sweeping team. Automatic champions, sa kanila pa mvp (highest ranked player stats-wise)

@@fredtacang3624 I know it's based on stats but I think Ateneo deserved to have at least Thirdy or Kouame either in the mystical team and/or MVP. Oh well, Ateneo had a balanced attack with anyone can step up any game.

@@creydadj Ateneo wasnt going for individual awards, i dont think it mattered to them. The 3peat and perfect season were the greatest rewards, prompting their grade school dept to retire (first time) the jersey numbers of their 3 notable alums, nieto twins and thirdy, who btw i think had 3 finals mvp's? Thats 3 three's there lol Everything else was just gravy

In my opinion po kasi didnt nung time na yan yung mga veterans ng pba refused to five their spots unless they felt na you deserved it.
