Because Kou Thao uses copyrighted sounds/music in HIS movies. In order for him to put advertisement and make money on youtube WITHOUT getting in trouble, He had to mute or replace the parts that uses copyright sounds/music. He didn't have copyright rights to the sounds/music. If he did, he wouldn't have to worry about youtube and the original creator going after him. This is why most Hmong movies is for private home use only. This is why people who mute or overlap or replaces the movie's original sountrack.
