U2 played in Vienna that night, they left the stage in London after this performance, boarded their plane, flew to Vienna, and then did that gig. Must have been a tiring day for them.

Saw them in Vienna that day. My first concert ever. Unforgettable. But now they become a little bit boring.... Elton John flew also to another gig, he played in Dublin that day.

I remember reading an interview with Edge and he said all they wanted to do was come up with a basic rock song. No real deep message, just something fun to play.

U2 is my oldest love in music. Bono's voice, Edge's great sound and guitar playing and the solid and original spine of the band with Larry and Adam who are always forgotten... Just one of the best bands still active that never changed a band member and that was never afraid to take chances. I would love your input on our cover of U2's Ordinary Love. There used to be a U2 "shreds" version of this same performance on youtube. It must of been removed because I can't find it anywhere. It was one of the FUNNIEST shreds videos of all time! I would pay money to see it once again! Has anyone else seen the video I'm talking about?
