U2 The Joshua Tree Tour 2019: Live In Singapore.
A non profit fan made film. Filmed on November 30th and December 1st 2019 at the National Stadium, Kallang, Singapore. The film is a mix of both nights. This project started off as a personal project that was just going to be shared within an inner circle as a memento of our trip to Singapore, however I thought I would share it with others so they can relive their memories.
There are some editing mistakes and you will notice them. During ISHFWILF I have tried to include some pro shot footage from Singapore and some pro shot footage from the 2017 leg. I added some cinematic black bars and in some cases it works quite well. In some scenes though the video appears to "leak" and you can see the video colours escape at the top and bottom of the screen. Overall seeing how this was my first major attempt at an edit I am relatively happy with how it's turned out. I would give it a 6/10. If I had more time then I could have polished out all the minor mistakes.
Bullet The Blue Sky was taken from Auckland and One Tree Hill is pro shot footage from Argentina. The audio does suffer a bit during BTBS and Trip Through Your Wires. Towards the end of the show the transitions is a bit rough between the songs however it is always difficult when you're not working with one audio source.

Ohhh I'm so gutted..so gutted. Made a mortal mistake of not going for this Tour. U2 in Singapore! My home, my country and I missed it! Tears welled in my eyes watching this video, hearing the music that I grew up as a young boy. Accompanying me in my loneliness, raising me up, lifting me high. Thank you U2 for the soul and journey of live.
Saw this tour in Philly 1987 and again in 2017. Still get goosebumps hearing the opening of Streets.
Bono’s voice sounds rejuvenated. I saw them 1987 Joshua Tree Tour in Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center. Powerful opening then and now. They sound tops to me and the crowd into it.

Who missed this spectaculsr concert? Sadly, I did. I must have been living under a rock because this is their best-selling album. I also read that it is the best-selling album in the country or world. I can't remember which. I have listened to this video probably at least 25 times. The ? is what about Achtung Baby??? We need a tour people.

I think the delay to the jt dvd tour release is due to the sheer volume of live content posted on youtube. Granted some of it is poor but there are some high quality audio content if you look hard enough. They must be thinking theres no point releasing it when there is so much available for free online. To that i would say fans need a high quality concert on dvd, professionally recorded. Hoping this will come on the fan club release in 2022....
