When i heard u2 were playing the whole of Actung Baby live...one of my biggest wishes was for them no to re-invent this song in the live setting. Im so glad they mostly stayed true to the Zoo TV versions.

Agreed. I would extend that to the entire album. I was was really hoping they weren’t going to play So Cruel(1 of my 5 favorite songs of theirs) in a stripped down version because of how complex that song is to play live(which is why they had never played it live before this residency). I’ve always wanted a live version of that. Now we have it.

Wowww. This was amazing. If anyone ever challenges whether Edge is capable of a solo, just send them this beginning at 3:15. Like holy shit that was amazing. That’s not the same solo from Sydney ZooTV. He’s extended it. Might be my favorite bit of guitar work I’ve ever seen him perform. Even Bono’s vocal is fantastic here(from what I can tell he’s been a bit hit-and-miss lately).

He is a good guitarist ,he has a very personal style, but he does use effects a lot . I prefer to feel the guitar than the pedals !

The bugs were really creepy when they came on screen. Played into the song well.

I love this song, love the edge here, but bono seems in a rush, and that can hold breath for so much, almost out of tune also.
