I actually like that they lock. But not a bad suggestion.

You can just completely remove them. Pull the drawer out all the way and you can slide the plastic locks out

I had the same box. Do you find that when the lid is closed stuff gets piled on it and it becomes frustrating to open the lid to unlock the drawers for access ?

When those drawers get heavier, ur gonna want the lock.

You can take them out it’s on right at the end

I love that little cart man, i loaded it up with so much tools she just keeps performing and not complaining. Would buy another one no doubt if needed.

You can just take the hand lock rail out. Push up on the single tooth on the end and pull

I took mine off completely and did the magnet trick. It's been that way since the summer of 19 and I have no complaints

As well, you can pull the latch bar out.

Doesn’t the latch help prevent the drawers from falling out if it tips?

Yes. And these things do tip over easily if too many drawers are open at once

Also the latch is there cause it cheaper and doesn’t have the detent like the roller boxes. Great cart though. Love that new grey. 😊

You mechanics that have this same cart , do you find it frustrating to access the drawers when you have the lid closed and things get put on top ?

Mine came with pre broken locks,so I just removed them out

Why not take a grinder to the thing that sticks out ?

Bro I've been waiting for a hack like this so I don't have to deal with the annoying lock mechanism

I sniped thoes snd used magnets and double sided tape to make them hold shut

Or just use the latch like normal?? It’s not that big of a difference and it keeps your tools from spilling out if you bump or tip your cart

The combo wrenches are Icon 6-24 no skips, the 25mm and 27mm are craftsman, and the double box extended wrenches are snap on
