U.S. Fumes As Southeast Asian 'Ally' Allows Putin's Visit; 'Platform To Promote Russia's War'

The U.S. has hit out at Vietnam for allowing Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country between June 19-20. The U.S. embassy in Hanoi rebuked Vietnam, telling it that no country in the world should allow Putin a platform to promote Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. The U.S. is also furious as Vietnam, its key trading partner, didn’t send representatives to attend the Ukraine peace summit in Switzerland but sent officials to attend the BRICS summit hosted by Russia last week. Watch for more details.

The US is in no position to arrest anyone. First they've never signed on with the ICC. Secondly why aren't Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Blair being charged for illegally invading Iraq? They will never sign that agreement as it would make them responsible for their actions.

They almost succeeded in China, tried it in Hong Kong and now Taiwan. The global south saw all these atrocities, guess what now, they're kicking them OUT.

Besides the horrible effects of their chemical warfare where nothing can grow for generations in the lands that have been affected, the US intensive bombardment campaigns in Vietnam n Laos, titled operation rolling thunder has caused massive devastation, sorrow n death of millions of innocent civilians and the terrible sufferings resulting from the aftermath of such destruction has created a monumental human tragedy that has few comparison in modern history. As usual such atrocious crimes committed by the US around the world are cleverly disguise by their powerful propaganda machine as defending freedom n democracy n in spite of living in an age of information, there are no shortage of fools who will easily buy into this garbage narrative. Sadly the world is not just destroyed by the evil but also the ignorant

The best part of this is that US had been waving, offering, asking for VN to have Comprehensive Strategic Partnership status for more than 8 years while VN had delayed this. US finally got this from VN in 2023, the US got a hard-on, thinking that VN is in its pocket ........ and Vietnam invited Putin in 2024, on the cusp of BRICS rise to the world stage with critical issues ready for implementation. BRICS membership is up next but given VN's significant trade and FDI with Western economies, I don't see BRICS membership arriving for another year or two. VN will need to have its bank set up with Russia and China first before they show their BRICS hand, knowing the minute they do, the US and EU will sanction them.
