0:45 that is one of the craziest maneuvers I’ve seen. The fact that was so fast and did a 180 and still managed to gain so much speed. F-22 truly a work of art

I've got a ton of respect for anyone who has the guts to undergo the mental and physical challenges of flying a fighter. But let's not forget everybody on the ground or in the support craft, because without them there couldn't be fighter pilots.

I just want to show some respect to the ones who are often overlooked. I'm not in the Air Force, nor am I even American (There is a base near me that flies Eagles, though), but where I am in the world the ground crews, support craft, etc are more often "unsung heroes" than not.

0:47 5th-Gen maneuverability is terrifying. The full capabilities of this aircraft are still unknown to the public. The cobra was beautiful.

F-22 yes plus sensors and pilot training make the difference I was talking to a lot of pilots when I was Air Force active duty and they said most pilots shot down never even saw the enemy so stealth is a huge factor

The maneuverability is cool for commercials and promotions and all, but the really scary thing about this plane is it can kill like 7 opponents from distance before they even knew it was there. Dogfighting is basically irrelevant in these fighters.

The fuel smells as they start a 130 and you're sitting there in the net seats. Then riding along forever to get anywhere in a 130 and now I miss it. How delighted I was to hear we are getting a ride in a 135 or 141. Yes, I miss the people and the service. Really was a great part of my life.

This video hits hard...joining the AF (or any military branch) was not something that I considered before...and I am up there in years (though I can still join). Just started the application process for AF and SF.

Spent 29 years in the USAF and 21 of them in U.S. Air Force Recruiting. Glad to see the great job you're doing as opposed to some of our Sister services commercials. Aim High!

I believe I saw the same AD before Top Gun Maverick movie in theatre. I literally had goosebumps and was jumping out of my seat in excitement. Filmed/edited beautifully and full of passion, gives an incredible adrenaline rush! Probably the best commercial I have seen in a while!

@@evildork6805 It reminded me of a joke my First Sergeant told. He joked with a USAF General that the Army had more aircraft and the Navy could land in more places. Fortunately for him, the General had a sense of humor. :)

This commercial brought back such nostalgia for those old US military recruitment commercials of the 90’s and early 2000’s; unapologetic confidence derived from power and skill. I feel like these commercials kinda lost that attitude they once had, striving to be inclusive and friendly, rather than making you feel like a badass.

I really love the Jonathan Majors Army commercials... but... this one is FIRE. That comment at the end "Belongs to Us." Bro... chills.

When I was 9 years old, my mom and dad took me to an open house at Langley AFB. Ten years later I was stationed there as an Eagle Keeper. Best job I have ever had.

Brrrrrrrt is the best sound as platoon seargent I heard during OIF/OEF had a couple of close ones, fly boys did us right watched over us proper. Respect.

Remember when TV stations had to sign off at night? My local one always ran "High Flight." Even though my father had been in the Navy, after seeing "High Flight" at age eight, I wanted to be a pilot in the worst way. An Air Force fighter pilot. I still dream of it. Why did I never join the Air Force? If you have a seizure disorder, the closest you'll ever get to being a pilot is to buy a seat on a passenger jet. Such is life. I'm old now, but thank you for giving me a video I can dream with.....

The blue angels do an air show in my city every year and, the day before the show, the air space above my neighborhood is opened up for them to practice. They fly over my house at a relatively low altitude and, damn, are they loud, the entire house rumbles and, every time they fly over, I imagine how much more terrifying it would be if they were also firing missiles at me. I wouldn't want to mess with the U.S.

People buy houses near Air Force bases and Navy/Marine Corps air stations; and then file lawsuits because of the jet noise. It’s really amazing, someone buys a house near a runway full of military air traffic and then wonders why they can hear airplanes flying around by their house. We had some bumper stickers made (not original, but still true) “JET NOISE IS THE SOUND OF FREEDOM”

I went to SERE with a fighter pilot who had just tested top of his class. He had said your test scores during training dictate your bidding order for airframe should you have tested high enough. Out of his class of 50 there were 2 fighter pilots and one DQed later. He was 1/50 and he won’t be replaced until he’s retired/changes AFSC. You dodged a missile.

@@ebbeb9827 Air Force doesn't just stay in America. The only pilots that really ever stay in America full time are those that don't get sent out and Air National Guard. Just like America is known for we kill other people they don't kill us. Nobody ever comes over here to fight

@@unwoundsteak17 It’s not even a contest. Su-57 is a solid aircraft as far as maneuverability goes but it’s performance and handling isn’t near as good. It’s fighting capability is inferior in every way. But that’s a different topic.

Much better than the Army's "I have two moms" commercial.

Coolest military informercial ever!

Ironically, this commercial played in my theater as a preview before Top Gun 2, a Navy-themed movie... Still, this is one damn good commercial. Gave me goosebumps before Maverick even started. Good job USAF

I thought the same thing. I think the top gun movie gave them the idea for this commercial. Telling my buddies to go see it. What a movie !

If I hadn’t already been in the army, I would’ve totally enlisted into the Air Force because of this commercial. It’s so sick.

They showed this at my screening of the new Top Gun, I didn't know I could get more hyped than that!

Proud son of two Air Force veterans right here. My mom served in Desert Storm and my dad served until he retired in 96. I am proud of them both and their service to this country.

My Dad began in the Army Air Corps then joined the USAF in September 1947. He served during the Korean War and Vietnam. A popular 1960’s bumper sticker read “ I can beat any man in any land at any game he can name for any amount he can count.” Still true.
