Looks good, but sudden drop in weight and overtraining could backfire badly. He should've started this process long ago. Usyk's gradually adapted to a heavier physique and already acclimatised well to the HW division. All he needs to do is focus on his strategy and maintaining. I think Usyk will give Fury a shock in the ring. Got nothing against Fury, he has all the tools to win, but it's hard to support him when he behaves so childish and entitled at times.

That's why I said it's gonna be a level fight. Fury is a knockout machine; and usyk is a cat, he can run all over the place he has A class technique and can defend himself and prance on opportunities. so this fight will be to the wire

There will not be a danger of KO from Usyk. But Usyk knows this too. So he is going to go for the points and if Fury is not serious about this fight, he will lose it on point. But Fury definitely looks like he is in good condition for the fight. Hope it will be another war in the ring like the Fury-Wilder fights. I am very excited for this fight.

If you look at his earlier career, like the second mcdermott fight or cunningham he was slimmer than this. It's probably the best shape he's been in post depression, but if he's 17.5 stone then he needs to see a doctor I don't think he's been that light since he was 16 ha. I'd say he'll come in high 18s, similar weight to when he fought wallin but hopefully less fat and more muscle. He's always had the potential to do the conditioning as any person does with pts and dieticians, its just what's left in the tank. He needs a klitschko fight level performance, and if he can find that nobody can beat him

What is "stone" and how one calculate it?

It's gonna be a very very tought fight. Tyson fury has a very strong mindset and willpower which we have already witnessed in fight with deontay wilder in the first fight when tyson fury got knocked down heavily still he gotup and fought like a warrior by not giving up

Better than average boxer

Hang on. He cannot be resuming training. He must have been training all along. He looks thinner and fitter. That means he wouldn't have been as "ready" back on Feb 17 as he is now. It seems the delay for the cut was very "fortunate" for him. I like Fury as a fighter, but so much of this stuff doesn't add up.

I took a bomb pretty early and never quite recovered. He couldn't bully ngannou around the ring like he does with other opponents

Despite Fury holding a size advantage, Usyk's technical prowess, footwork, adaptability, impeccable timing, and ability to seize opportunities are likely to overcome any shortcomings. Fury's power, which is average at best for a heavyweight, won't be the deciding factor. Despite Fury's elusive and unorthodox style, with Usyk's constant adjustments throughout the entire fight, along with his superior gas tank, I've got him taking this one on points. However, there's a sneaking suspicion he might just get robbed of the decision.

I think you point out Usyk's strengths well - he's a complete boxer. That said - I disagree 100%. Speed/Mobility: Fury is just as fast as Usyk. His footwork is equally as fast as his hands - Fury can really move around the ring. Always prefers to outmaneuver opponents. I think their speed and mobility is an absolute wash. Dead even. Technique/Defense: Also a wash. Both guys throw volume combination punches. Both guys are defensively sound. They both have excellent craft and ring generalship. Wash. Power: No question Fury takes this one. That's why you are using your words carefully there. Trying to downplay Fury's power by saying he's not a hard heavyweight puncher is a roundabout way of dodging that Usyk is among the weakest heavyweight punchers. Even if Fury is mid - that is still MUCH harder punching than Usyk. Chin: Wash. Both guys have shown good chins. Age: Not many want to talk about it - but I will. Usyk is older. By a good margin. This is being overlooked by Usyk fans. It could very well be a factor. Size: No brainer. Reach and height and weight are all advantages for Fury. Not just regular advantages either. HUGE advantages in each of those categories. Cardio/Volume: Slight advantage to Usyk. That said, it is VERY slight. Fury threw a tremendous amount of punches in the Wilder fights in particular. He has a gas tank man. Fought 12 hard rounds against Wilder in fight 1 and still had enough to get off the deck in 12th and fight strong. In round 11 of of the 3rd fight - had enough to flatline Wilder even after being dropped twice. Usyk throws more punches sure. However, I think Fury is VERY close. How to win: 1. Usyk: Needs to box perfect for 12 rounds. Needs to fight at mid range the entire fight - inside Fury's significant reach advantage but not inside where Fury can bully him. Can't look for a knockout against the bigger man and bigger puncher. Needs to go for points and avoid firefights. 2. Fury: Can box entirely on the outside for 12 rounds if he can use his reach to prevent Usyk from getting close. Can come inside and bully Usyk up close in a clinching dirty boxing game. Can absolutely hunt for a knockout considering he's the bigger man and bigger puncher. Doesn't need to avoid exchanges. Doesn't need to be perfect for 12 - just needs to land a big shot. Long story short: Fury has far more ways and places and styles to win this fight - and is the only guy who has clear unquestionable physical advantages as well. Prediction: Usyk looks good until he doesn't. Late rounds KO for Fury when the weight and size starts to wear him down.

A lot of weight off a real lot… going for speed to match and take out Usyk ….interesting

The guy's boxing skills were destroyed by fighting wilder, he was forced to be heavier and less mobile.

I honestly think it be an easy nights work for him. On that basis whose CV is decent? The basketball player had Knocked out the previous 44 men he had faced, Fury then goes to his back yard, not only avoids defeat but then knocks him out, Klitscko was 38 and longest serving heavyweight, who fury fought in his own backyard and schooled him like no one had ever seen, most of the fight he had his hands behind his back and Klitscko couldn’t lay a glove. He had a 5 week camp and sparred 12/15 rounds a day so he did train for Ngannou .
