    Fury hasn't boxed anyone like Usyk. In other hand, Usyk used to box much taller and bigger fighters, he has been doing that he's whole life. I'm not sure Fury is aware of what Usyk will bring to the table...

    Fury used to be special, now he's just average. If he doesn't pull of impeccable performance on the night Usyk will do what he does best,eaning he will find the way to push his pace, rhythm and style. I hope Fury doesn't get frustrated like he did in Francis fight.

    Fury has a great engine and Usyk has put more muscle on for this fight which should negatively effect his speed and stamina. Fury has a 7 INCH reach advantage !!! The jab will be key in this fight IMO

    One strategy Fury can try is backpedaling like crazy around and around the ring. The problem is that isn't free and Fury's size and it won't be long until that is exhausting in it's own right. I suppose the best he can do is try and cover up tightly, try and stay outside and then throw blind 1-2s just hoping it lands and/or just keeps Usyk backed off.

    Usyk isn't a Middleweight anymore, he will come in on fight night at 220+. He is 37 years old and Fury is not AJ. Fury is twice as smart and twice as skilled as AJ , bigger, but not stronger. I don't think Fury will hit him with a one shot KO, but I believe Fury is he shows up ready, and has the best camp of his career, will pick Usyk apart and either get the stoppage late or a very wide UD.

    Fury won't stop Usyk that is pure nonsense. Usyk took a full right hand from AJ . Fury is a one two punch man only way he beats Usyk is to use his reach and back pedal.

  • @topsuperseven7910

    @topsuperseven7910

    2 ай бұрын

    @@petershanle9675 The only thing I can think of is that ting in boxing where *sometimes* one wild punch surprises everything. Fury just closes his eyes and 'hail Mary..' and throws a punch of the lifetime and by sheer chance Usyk stumbles chin-first right into it. Crazy stuff happens. but realistically, put aside the exceptional wild out-of-nowhere lucky shot. Right, Fury just doesn't have a lot of punching power. He does have a solid 1-2 down the middle and with his weight it can jar opponents but he needs to drop those over and over to accumulate for a stoppage. This gets less likely when you realize Usyk is pretty much an iron jaw. I think Breidis might have had him wobbly once and that was late with massive accumulation and output from both and Usyk didn't slow down his offense even when reeling a bit. AJ has caught Usyk with power punches and nothing. Chisora really did get some big blasting power punches on Usyk but at no point was Usyk buzzed or dizzy (oh, they surely hurt). Dubois is a KO puncher and caught Usyk with a few solid shots and Usyk didn't even blink. I agree with you that Fury's best possible chance is to backpedal like mad and try and zing in point-grabbing jabs and 1-2s hoping to get the rounds for a decision. Probably the worst thing he can do is decide he's going to KO Usyk.

    Stamina isn't something that peaks early. Many of the best marathon runners are in their mid or even late thirties - athletes tend to transition to longer distances as they get older. Calzaghe had superb stamina up to 36. Speed, flexibility and muscular endurance might peak a little bit earlier.
