    I think it's worth pointing out that the third Wilder fight was not at all impressive in terms of boxing quality. While it was a great spectacle and both men showed incredible heart the standard of boxing was pretty low. Of course this was not something that most of the media picked up on and by and large every one bought into the hype that Tyson was the heavyweight champion of the current era , in spite of the fact that the Anthony Joshua Usyk Fight was genuinely a much more skillful affair.

  • @sandman1347

    If we're being honest, the heavyweight division has been VERY low quality since the early 2000s. People want to pretend that Fury is some kind of all-time great but anyone who knows boxing is not buying that. The guys fighting today in the division are so limited compared to the greats of the past. Wilder fights on an elementary school level. Fury is just a really big guy who wears his opponents down with his body weight. None of these guys are that impressive.

    What an absolutely brilliant analysis. This analysis was probably, if not the best boxing analysis I have ever heard. I was captivated from minute one. Every single one of your points were spot on. It's rare that I agree with absolutely everythhing a boxing analyst says, but your analysis was really really exceptional. Brutally honest, with rock solid points. I'm not sure Fury fights Usyk. I think he just might call it a day after that performance, if not, I highly doubt he will ever fight AJ because he knows he's been exposed now, and if an MMA fighter with zero experience can do that to him, imagine what AJ of similar build and strength with years more experience will do to Fury now. I think Fury knows the writing is on the wall, and he will call it a day very soon. To be honest, I will be glad to see the back of him because he has single handedly destroyed boxing with him constantly avoiding boxers he feels are a threat, and constantly lying and moving the goal posts when it comes to contracts. The power he had over the boxing world is now gone, so he won't be able to call the shots like he used to by cherry picking the super easy fights to make easy money. Absolute Coward of a man! I'm glad we are seeing the decline of Fury. Hopefully he will be gone completely by next year.

  • @arronhaggerty8426
    @arronhaggerty84267 ай бұрын

    Tyson Fury looked dreadful because Francis Nganou didnt allow him to use his 300 pound body to weigh him down, this is where his MMA training comes in, Fury like to pull his opponents down and lay his body on them, to get them exhausted, then lower the boom punch, which is only effective when his opponent is completely zapped of energy, because of Fury smothering them with his six foot nine 300 pound frame, which didn't work on Nganou, because he's use to these kinds of fights in his MMA craft, Tyson Fury basically lost, and Francis Nganou, wasn't actively fighting for 2years, because of a knee injury, not to mention that he never had a boxing match in his life. There are excuses, Francis Nganou is older than Tyson Fury, and was less experienced in boxing than Tyson Fury, no excuses, on paper Fury won by 1 point split decision against non boxer. You couldn't take nothing from Nganou, even if you wanted to.😂

    Pretty good assessment of Fury his career and where he is at the moment, I do think he’ll make a big push for this next fight and do everything he can to get back into shape hence now doing a u turn on the Dec 23rd date. He’s already pulled a Fury stunt by messing with the date, every fighter needs to time their camp to be at their optimum come fight night. Usyk had a date, that’s now gone keeping him guessing.

    Fury and wilder have both been put on a pedestal they never deserved. Wilders career was built on knocking out nobodies, and I get it, he was America's heavyweight darling, so obviously they would over hype him, but I've always been confused why British pundits jumped on the bandwagon as well, yes he knocked out ortiz, but that was the highlight of his career, and ortiz was hardly in his prime. Then Tyson Fury has the trilogy with him, and because he dominated wilder in two of the fights, he then got labelled one of the best heavyweights of all time😮. I'm not claiming to be a expert in boxing, but those two guys combined haven't fought anywhere close to the opposition that Lennox Lewis fought, but people still said, "furys best British boxer ever", and thinking he was some sort of superman. He did great beating Klitschko, but I think even the out of his prime ageing Klitschko would of won easily in the rematch. He didn't throw his right most of the night, and still could of got a draw. I think fury knew that as well causing him to drop off the deep end.

    There are 2 HUGE money fights Fury could do, 1 is Usyk, the other is AJ. If we see either it will be Usyk. Why? well partly belts, if Fury wins he gets belts as well and can proclaim himself the greatest of an era and a win over Usyk would add a lot of weight to that, but, and for me this is the big one, Losing to Usyk vs Losing to AJ? At this point if Fury lost to AJ he would make the biggest prat out of himself, due to the things he has said about AJ over many years. He has talked sh*t on Usyk too , but far less than on AJ, and Usyk is a better boxer than AJ, and anyone with any sense can see Usyk is not just good, he is a genuine boxing great (2 weights, immense skill, speed, stamina, punch out put , footwork on another level etc). If Fury loses to Usyk he can save face a lot more and it does not expose him anywhere near as much as losing to AJ. I honestly think if the version of Fury who fought Wilder in the first fight fought the AJ of the same time period, Fury's decline would have gotten exposed a long time ago. AJ's issue is mental, its not physical or ability, he is very physically good and has lots of ability (he's not a one trick pony like Wilder) AJ's worst enemy is in his head, but when Fury fought WIlder the first time AJ's demons had not surfaced yet. AJ likely would have worn Fury down and TKO'd him. Since that time frame both UK fighters have declined , Fury has declined physically and AJ has declined mentally. I really wish , regardless of if I am wrong about the potential outcomes, Fury fought AJ instead of Wilder, because I genuinely believe we will never see the 2 fight, which is such a shame for British boxing. I dont think Fury will fight Usyk, I think we are most likely to see him rematch Ngannou and then retire, or possibly he may retire now.

    It's pretty absurd that we're talking about a fighter being on a decline at only 35 years old. I think Fury has been more or less this bad ever since his comeback. We praise the Wilder #2 performance, but how bad was Wilder that night? And was there anything in the cheat accusations? We also talk about how great Fury was in the Klitschko fight and the fight leading up to that fight. But he was also literally on steroids for those fights. Could that have been the reason he performed so well? I think the cheat accusations Wilder put out makes more sense now after the elbow he delibratly threw against Ngannou this weekend. Look it up on youtube. It's absolutely disgraceful and a cheating attempt.

    One of the only true comments on what happened congrats bro. They kept a great shape and read fury left hand fake and right straight his main offence, didn’t bite to hardly any faints and knew fury couldn’t deny him so was able to trade through punches. People without experience don’t know how difficult it is to read armatures and people form different styles and Martial arts in terms of cues and structure. I think g man is great a close second to boxing gossip (come back) but he has a real agenda and problem with Tyson. The only thing is true is Tyson has lived to extent and his ego is an hinderance. Tyson leading to beating wlad was amazing chisora 2 ( comparing this is chisora whyte years after this and chisora won the first and had to front foot due to bad decisions) don’t think he got hit at al, hitting at will and the only person to have chisora quit in his feet. His win over wlad is one of the best boxing masterclasses in boxing immense truly incredible with his everything going against him. I do agree the Peter furys fury was better than the fury now despite a better knowledge of landing and structuring punches. I still can’t see fury loosing to usyk due to the strengths of fury, however if he doesn’t use distance and bug man off the back foot he could be pivoted on and overwhelmed. Can’t wait for the fight and a few years down the line and more recently to us missing and reflecting on how good these fighters where and the impact they had in boxing. Won’t be long till long retired we already miss mayweather, froch, groves, Saunders, and soon chisora and Tyson.
