Its the drama that gets him title shot? He is on a 7 winstreak, has same record as Usman in 15-1, won legit interim title before, won against maia and rda before usman did, which got usman into title match. This is some of the most few legit ufc title fights in ufc modern history, where most of the fights are given because of media interest, fan interest, drama etc. This is definitely not one of them. Woodley says winner of Usman v Colby should be next for him? This is what im talking about, nobody wants to see him vs Usman anymore, and Colby is basically same fighter as Usman is. Woodley should go in there, and get himself a win so we know hes back. It's fucking annoying these fighters sit after losing the belt. Yeah you won the championship, then you lost it, you need to get back in there, not just get the rematch handed to you, what the fuck does losing matter then?

Victor Garza I disagree, I don’t think he lost because he overlooked Usman. He lost to Usman because Usman’s style is to manhandle and overpower you while holding you down for 5 rounds. its funny cuz in the countdown episode for the till fight he said that when his camp started, all the TMZ, acting and rapping stuff stopped and he would focus solely on his opponent. In his champ camp episodes for ufc235 you could see he was still doing stunts in music studios and shit whilst the camp was on. He may have just underestimated Usman, but it shows just how hard it is to keep urself motivated to get 9 fkin title defences like GSP did

I think Colby would dominate Twood very similar to how he totally dominated Robbie. He holds the record for least punches thrown in a fight, he is a terrible fight salesman, he left our local gym after our coach raised him through HS got him a state title in wrestling, brought him into MMA and got him to the UFC then he let our gym and never talked to any of us again. mostly some of that stuff. ....

Positive sentiments on Kamaru and Colby for their fighting skills give him brownie points as an analyst and aspiring commentator. I wonder if he will be able to regain the belt though.
