Tyrese is one of those players that has just kind of kept their head down and focused on the grind. I really hope he starts to get the success and recognition he deserves.

I've liked Maxey's energy since the first day on the court. Seeing him become a larger component of the Sixers offense is great to see.

Love maxey but hate when y’all say this, do y’all understand how many guards are in the league and dame is in the eastern conference now, maxey is a great player and impactful and one of the franchise stepping stones but everyone just can’t make the ASG because their great

@@alias2151All star team is what, 30 players? That’s 6 guards per conference, he definitely has a shot. Trae, Dame, Mitch, Garland, Brunson, Lavine, etc. he may get there.
@KadeForever

@@c_rock3512No, it’s 24 players. 12 on each team, and usually 4-5 Guards on each team. Considering he’s in the East he most likely wont make it . Dame, Trae, Dmitch, Jaylen Brown, and Brunson have the best chances in the East. But he can make it as a substitute for an injured player possibly.

As a Celtics fan that paid a lot of money to get tickets for game 5 of the Sixers series last year just to watch Maxey absolutely cook my team, screw this guy. As a human and basketball fan, I absolutely love watching this guy play and hearing him talk, he's one of the most exciting young players in the league while also being super personable, motivated, and drama-free. Wish him the best.

This dude is nice af . To average 18-20ppg the last 2 years on 48%,42%,85% with Harden and Embiid at 6'2 is impressive af . He's gonna get paid next year. If Harden leaves he'll be a star

Maxey saved the sixers. One of my favorite players, his Work ethic is unmatched
Now with the Harden trade to the clippers and Maxey starting the season on an absolute tear, you can't help but just be happy for his success.
Tyrese is my favourite player in the league. My first jersey has his name on the back, what a hero
I feel nostalgic now about the Sixers when they had Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Dario Šarić, and JJ Redick.

J.J., i just want to say thank you. Being a Philly fanatic, the spotty rep we receive sometimes comes primarily from a place of passion and grit. Once youre a philly fan and youre able to feel the love, madness, and overall loudness of the crowd. You know how great it is to be philly fan. No better feeling, honestly. So, thank you for the compliment. We love you, bro.
Another young guy Glenn Rivers tried to ruin. His rookie year they had one of the worst benches in the league and Maxey barely played and was scared to miss shots because he knew he would immediately come out. If Ben didn’t hold out the next season, Maxey would have been a 20mpg bench guy his second year too. Thank God Glenn is gone.

Let’s be perfectly Clear on this he says he wants to knock on the Door to be an all star. This kid with his work ethic could easily be knocking on the door of being one of the All Time greats with his work ethic If he keeps that up and keeps improving sky is literally the limit for him if Philly ever trades this kid this will be worse than them trading Jrue Holiday. Maxey works hard on the court and off he remind me of Kobe. Off season all ways working on his game further is brite. Keep up the good work let's go Sixers

I was always neutral on Doc Rivers but its crazy to think he made Tyrese come off the bench. Props to Maxey since no matter what role was given to him he exceeded expectations
That Pat Bev story at the end was hilarious. You could just picture him yapping. :)
They should record this interview and show it to every rookie coming into the league. Then say you want to be a success in the league, be this guy! Recognize you have been given a gift of opportunity, work ethic and capitalizing on your chances and realizing the fans are not your enemy but actually help your ability to make money. Tyrese gets this and lives it everyday. He's heading toward a max contract and already has the adoration from Philly fans.
