    I love the attention to detail in this scene! The smaller (and probably faster) brother was the one who chased down the prey, while the larger and stronger brother was the one who waited to deliver the finishing blow.

    Yeah, seems like quite the dynamic duo honestly. A deadly pairing indeed. Likely they end up splitting as adults though, food may not be as easily available for 2 mouths to feed once fully grown. But, who can say for sure, you never know.

    I do like how even though they took it down quickly, you could still see them trying to be careful regarding the edmontosaurus’ kicks. These were massive animals, after all. Broken bones aren’t good for survival.

    Its not a certainty and sometimes they are known to grow apart once they feel like they are owed more than they have if they were sharing with an equal, I think it would be far earlier with an animal like 10 times the size and far slower moving

    Correct dinosaurs don’t have the brain mentality like mammals do, but these are probably a last surviving pair of young Rexis and this is probably their last hunt

    I like how you can tell which of the rex brothers is younger or older based on their size compared next to each other. The smaller one is the younger of the two, while the larger one is the eldest.

    Not really. A pair of T-Rex brothers would have been laid in a single clutch of eggs that hatched basically all at once. Size would just be a matter of which one has better genetics or ate more.

    @@jacobcox4565 Yeah true. Plus it's not like super well understood exactly how it worked with most Dinosaurs, T-Rex included. But do they not still usually hatch roughly at the same time, like even if it's a few days apart? I'm not sure how much a difference of age of just a few days overcomes other likely more significant biological factors in size variation

    This section is scientifically correct as t rex also had a great thinking ability thanks to their high brain to head ratio. Pretty good optic sense, excellent vision in night, and a terrific olfactory function. Making sense of smell great enough.

    I swear these two are made slightly thinner than the full grown adults seen in Season 1 and plus the one that faced the Quetzalcoatlus. It makes sense they'd hunt together to secure a meal better with less injury.

    @@tyrannycall9754 the lead scientific consultant and Certified Real One, Darren Naish, confirmed they’re both subadults (though, by the looks of it, full adulthood isn’t too far away for them). The individual variation is still a factor, though, and it can be seen in the bigger ‘horns’ and more robust skull for what I’m gonna assume is the older brother.

    Despite the entire scene of this moment it's quite interesting to think on how some tyrannosaurs could have stuck together throughout adulthood such as lion brothers known as nomads interesting to think if the same behavior applied to Tyrannosaurus if not to Tyrannosaurids in general

    I think the younger brother is as big as the female, and the older brother is bigger than both of them. The old male from season 1 was an absolute unit of a T.Rex though.

    I will never get over how cool this scene is, but it's more likely that Tyrannosaurus rex and likely Tyrannosaurus mcraeensis were diurnal, based on studies of T. rex's inner ears and comparisons to other dinosaurs like Dromaeosaurus and Shuvuuia.

    If one t rex is bad enough how about 2 t rexes, 4 t rexes, 6 t rexes, 10 t rexes, or even 20 t rexes. this animal despite being the top ultimate apex predator on land and as well as being the biggest of them all thanks to more recent studies of this animal, they are also highly social creatures, and there is a very high chance of T Rexes hunting in groups thanks to many of its relatives found in groups as well, like the one dig sight in 2021 a family of tyrannosaurs related to t rex is found dead together in a possible prehistoric flood.

    The edmonto is able to shake of the rex because it’s bigger then the one biting and can’t reach the neck do to all the fat on it

    Edmonto probably wouldn’t have had that much fat on the neck. Reptiles tend to store fat mostly in the tail. What you’re seeing there is 100% muscle, which… would probably be even harder to get through, in fairness.

    @@michaelbuono4007 oh I should also specify, while I said that reptiles tend to store fat in their tails (and that is true), that’s not why Edmontosaurus has such a beefy slab of a tail. I don’t think we know much about dinosaur fat distribution outside of what we can gather from birds and crocs today, but we do know plenty about their muscles. And that tail there? Just like the neck, that’s all muscle. This is why the idea of defenseless, theropod-fodder hadrosaurs annoys me. They may not have had fancy horns or armour, but they did have powerful beaks, four limbs perfectly capable of kicking, and, y’know… they were FUCKIN HUGE. PACKED with muscle. If a bull’s charging at you, it’s not gonna make all that much difference whether or not it has big horns. You’re still gonna run. It’s still a bull.

    actually the bigger one is the male, the crest are a bit bigger which is different than the smaller one that have smoother crests and skull that indicating it’s a female, also male would’ve been bulkier than females for competition to other male t rexes edit: in this video it’s actually a t-rex brothers

    I'm seeing a lot of people saying the rexes are brothers but I think this is a male and female. At 0:05 the female is on the right and the male is on the left. The male is slightly bigger, brighter colored and has slightly larger crest. It is similar to the differences of the male and female of in season 1.

    Tyrannosaurs rex was actually really bulky. There was a set of ribs they had that lined the belly, called "gastralia", that formed a general outline of their torso. T. rex had a deep torso, pretty much a barrel-chested look.

    @@angelmorales6012 Apparently not because they were on this planet for millions of years. You'd think if they consumed too many resources, then they'd evolve to be smaller, but no. Also, elephants were about as big as Edmontosaurus, and do they consume too much energy to live? You seem to underestimate how much food there was during the Mesozoic, for herbivores and carnivores alike. You also seem to overestimate how much energy they spend by just moving around.

    the trex models are so ugly, so, sooo ugly. Good animations, but bad MODELS , will anybody ever get dinosaurs right? we need another movie like "dinosaur 2000" but with rexes. so far dinosaur 2000 is the only animation that has every remotely come close to a near perfect model/animation
