    Hello! I was wondering if you'd like to do some videos with the all grammar themes of the certification's books in the order that books are redacted. Obviously you're not going to talk about the book, you're going to talk about the grammar themes. I have a book and I can write all the grammar themes it contains.

    What is the difference between thing and substance? Could you make a lesson on compound noun, please? Something more on characteristics of such nouns. I mean how to form? When to hyphenate and when to not hyphenate. Can't I say just 'newly wed?' Is 'newly' an adjective here which is modifying the word/noun 'wed?' Sorry for asking a lot! Thanks so much. I enjoyed this lesson, by the way.

    Sir the example that u gave about the collective noun it says: my family is small ( this is as a whole- it's clear, it's one single unit ) and then there's my family are waiting in the car , here you're focusing on each member of your family ... Isn't this a multitude noun sir? I googled it and that's how it says but I wanted to understand even more ...care to elaborate more on this?

    Excuse me please, I believe 'Prime Minister' is a common noun. There are many prime ministers in the world, but there is only one Spain. So why do you think it is a proper noun Sir?

  • @vannidapooh7

    @vannidapooh7

    4 жыл бұрын

    I agree! I was stumped too why it was categorized as a Proper Noun. Although the starting alphabets are capitalized, that's hardly any reason for it to be called a Proper Noun. Every country has a President and a Prime Minister. Was it mentioned Spanish Prime Minister, then I'd consider it a Proper Noun.
