My husband got 87 on asvab, he was pretty much eligible for most of the MOS but he was offered very limited jobs because he’s a green card holder…

Once her gets to his duty station he can apply for citizenship, i forgot what form it is but it needs a battalion commanders signature then it gets uploaded to uscis. Got my exam and citizenship in less than 6 months good luck.

Currently in ROTC and looking for information on being an Army Finance Officer. Do you by chance know what a normal day in the life for people in finance would be like? Is it typically a desk job? Also where could I look for job info. I see a lot of videos on other MOSs in the army but I can hardly ever find anything on finance.

I would talk to a recruiter for more in depth details but I assume Finance Officers would be helping people with their expenses, spend plans, & etc. You be doing a lot of computer work and meeting with clients daily. Do you have prior experience working in Finance or a degree ?

Can you do an interview on someone in 36b or do you know anything about the mos?

I would find recruiters in your town who can educate you on the army process and standards . Try googling offices in your city

When you say civilian in the army are you talking about being an officer?? The army recruiter I talked to said that there is no guarantee of the job once i finish basic training and office school and that i would just be put wherever I am needed.

How do you apply for a civilian job in the Army?

Hey, in order to work in that field you need to have certifications as well as degrees and experience in the field. You're also going to need to get a security clearance since you'll be working for the US government. If there is a military base in your area, they hire a lot of civilian workers. You'll have to contact their specific telephone number or do a search of the company on Google.

Are there jobs done during the night only? I would like to go to school during the day

@loriellajames6978 they obviously don't want someone who is a fraud or bad with money because it can ruin they're reputation and cause problems down the line. That's why they do background checks on all areas.

Yes you should be fine you have to apply online, on the bases' website. Or if you know someone in the Army that'll be even better because you'll have a reference

@@joypressley4821 I know someone who has an army veterans account. I believe he was infantry when he started and I think he ended up on a K9 team. I think he was a private first class when he handed.
