1. Non-contract

1. Non-contrast CT Scan:
Non - contrast is like a walk-in walk-out procedure, which can be performed within 2-3 minutes.
No pre-diagnostic mandates are suggested for the non-contrast procedure
2.Contract CT Scan:
Before the procedure, the patient has to get a serum creatinine blood test done and we have to make sure that the kidney functions are within the normal range because the contrast or dye can have adverse effects on preexisting kidney disease patients.
It is performed under an anesthesiologist to monitor every possible complication due to contrast. Having said that, the rate of complication is as low as 2-3% and even the allergic reaction is also negligible.
Abdomen CT scan is done with the contrast technique to diagnose various stomach-related issues. For this procedure, we advise patients to observe fast for at least 6 hours to avoid vomiting/nausea.

To check any previous contrast media rxn..to check abnormal lab investigation if patient have..by asking history it easy to find what type of pathology a patient may be have..and also to check any previous ct report..if patient have any ct scan before it..got it..!!

It may be difficult to find any type of blood clot in plain ct scan..we need contrast dye to visulase it properly..
Mne 10 din ke ander 2 bar brain ka plain ct scan kraya hai, koi dikkat to nhi, please reply

@@story2288 🤣First i am not Didi, yes aap muje Bhaiya bol sakte hai, And second thing, Contrast CT scan Jyada dar Neuro patient ko hota hai, mere Head ke left side ka bone nikalna pada due to infection.... Note:- Kisi Particular Section ko Jyada Acche se dekhne ke liye Contrast CT scan hota hai...

@@rakeshtharu3721 contrast lene se reactions ho sakte hai aur nahi bhi ho sakta hai,matlab kisi patient ka allergy,vomitting,nausea,blur vision,vertigo yeh sab,aur death bhi possible hai agar patient ko pehle se hi kuchh aisa bimari hai ke woh contrast lene ke halath mein na ho to...aur yeh sab nahi bhi ho sakta hai agar woh normal ho bilkul...medical staff koi dosh nahi de sakta isliye pehle patient party se consent lena hota hai ke agar kuchh ho jay toh hum zimmedar nahi hone,agar woh raji ho toh scan hoga nahito nahi hoga....I hope aap samajh gaye..

@@narsedalam2314 sir mujhe cect whole body ki di hai mera weight loss huya tha uski wajah se woh pehale peene wali davai dete hai and phir injection lagate hai mai toh usi wajah se karva nahi raha doctors bhi kya bachkane wali harkat karre hai unko normal se he dekh lena chahiye naa weight loss ka
