I’m more of a Dark Academia than anything. I don’t like turtlenecks and the clothes that were shown, but I love the coffee shop/laid back dark aesthetic. I love dark brown in my living space. I like to wear t-shirts and leggings most of all, but Dark Academia is pretty much me minus the clothes 🥰🥰🥰

U can search on We Heart It Goth Academia and its pretty awesome! Also you can always add 80s vibe!!

I don't think the Goth aesthetic one is really correct. Goth is a fashion style and subculture which existes for around 40 years now. It evolved from the punk subculture and was inspired by the victorian era. The showed pictures were more of a dark grunge aesthetic. And anime has nothing to do with the goth subculture

I love any kind of academia, mostly dark, but honestly it's Just My Thing. I love how this aesthetic embraces literature, art and discussions. I love the preppiness it has, but not overwhelmingly so. It's simple and for me, easy to attain, because at its very core, Academia is about learning and growth.

I was like oh dark academia, nah my sister is this one but when I saw Harry Potter I was like definitely dark academia IM SO OBSSESED WITH THIS MOVIESS

I'm obsessed with lists being complete and comprehensive, so I'd like to make a few suggestions so everyone can find their thing: - the goth shown was more of a nu goth style (there's a bunch more variations like trad goth, romantic goth, medieval goth, Victorian goth, cyber goth, etc etc) - punk (the full-on chains, piercings, denim, leather, metal everything) - mori kei / dark mori - sporty (hoodies, trackies, running shoes, no/little jewellery, often great dancers) - super pink feminine (Barbie, Bratz dolls, legally blonde, Mary-Kate and Ashley) - post-apocalyptic - solar punk - preppy (jodhpurs, plaid, collared shirts) - lolita - pinup - fetish - business/corporate - kawaii - glam/elegant - casual - chic - granny (sweaters, cups of tea, comfy pants, cats eye glasses) - grandpa (kind of a mix between preppy, granny, and dark acedamia; definitely need a farmers flat cap/breeze cap and plaid grandpa slippers) - lumberjack (plaid, sturdy practical boots, carries a multitool everywhere) - Euro/metro (used to be called metrosexual but probably not anymore) - there's quite a few African American and Asian aesthetics still to cover, but I haven't researched those so can't help much. PS I was surprised not to see Avril Lavigne in the skater section 😮

I have so many clothing aesthetics. first is art hoe which I’ll put into the category with cottagecore. then retro (80s and 90s) and then y2k/indie - kinda fits into the retro category most recently I have been really into light and some dark academia. It’s not what I would wear but it’s still cool.

I feel like after these kind of videos I have a different aesthetic every day

I feel like your aesthetic could be like vaporwave bc people with this aesthetic like cartoons and anime. Maybe minimal bc they like very plain things such as white, black, beige, neutral colours etc. Also maybe soft goth/e-girl bc you seem to like black and also bc people with this aesthetic wear converse a lot. I just researched some aesthetics and tried to fit your things with them. Hope this kinda helps with finding your aesthetic :D
