I’m getting this for Christmas!

I'm surprised not more detachable style keyboards for any tablet type. I prefer keyboard cases over the folio style keyboard, especially if your in bed. Im thankful typecase has one for fire hd so im going to try it seeing as my finite keyboard for tablet after a year finally died. Anyways how does it hold up? im thinking giving this a try

You can charge your Apple Pencil still with the case on..Just magnetically attach it to the top like normal and there is a space to charge it!!!

Mine type incorrect characters and symbols. Shift 8 is supposed to be an asterisk symbol but it types open parentheses. Shift 9 is supposed to be close parenthesis but instead it types an equal sign., among many others.. Did you have the same issue? Thanks

I am unable to open the lid…. It is out flat, but I can’t change it to open like a laptop or tent or stand. I don’t dare force it, for fear of breaking the hinge, but it won’t budge. I can twist it, but that’s it! HELP! What am I doing wrong???

The case is able to stay up at any angle! The hinge is very strong and is able to pivot and turn to any angle.

Mine won’t fit in my case😢

I’m about to order this saaame one, can you give me a update on how it’s doing? Many reviews said that it “stopped functioning” the way it should after two months, is it holding up well?

Mine is still working fine. You do have to use the charger it came with though. I had tried to charge it with my iPad’s charger and it wouldn’t turn on until I used the one it came with. That was the only issue I found from using it.

The hinges are very sturdy, you are able to turn the entire screen around and it wouldn’t topple over. You’d also be able to have it lay flat so the keyboard is hidden under.

I just weighed it using my digital scale, the case by itself is only 1.3 lbs. I have another amazon keyboard case and on their product page it says it's only 1.5 lbs but it's actually heavier than this TYPECASE one. They may be measuring it with the ipad in the case.

they're pretty good, been using it for about 4 months now and the hinge is still as strong as day 1. The touch pad is decent enough, it can mess you up while typing sometimes, but there's a key to disable and enable it. My only problem with the keyboard (not that big of a deal TBH) is that you need to hit a key to turn it back on every now and then if you leave it without typing for a while.

How was it to remove?

Very easy! I just popped off the top two corners and pulled it out.

By chance do you still have the instructions ? I am connected to Bluetooth but there’s no typing happening

Yes, you can adjust it to multiple angles easily. The hinge very sturdy and can spin and adjust to any angle.

Hi all: This is a nice review. However, I had a bad experience with my Typecase Flexbook Touch. After about 6 weeks, the numeral keys stopped working. I cannot type any numbers or any symbols above the number keys. Typecase provided some instructions (turn off, turn back on, press C+R+L to reset to default and then "Palm" the keyboard. It did not work. I purchased this from a computer store, who would not honor any warrantee after 30 days, and because I did not purchase directly from the Typecase store, they could not take it back. I paid approximately 84 USD for this, and I am disappointed it has lost functionality.

same for me but i bought off of amazon. It was good when it came but after a day some bottom keys and number keys stopped working and the lights wont stay on even if i turn it on/off and press the light button.

Buy one on amazon and switch it out to return the defective one. Thats what i would do because that shouldnt happen in 6 weeks.

Mine keeps unpairing. Every time I open the case I have to go through the pairing process. is this normal??

It works, but it's not great. Some of the features like pinching to zoom in and out only works in the web browser. I found after a few days I really only used it to scroll with, which makes it really easy. However, for other things like clicking on things, it was just easier to use the touch screen.

You can go back and forth between the last app you were using, and you can open up your open apps dock. I forget which gestures which but it’s in the video!

Anybody else’s not working for theme

The way its so difficult to put in is a deal breaker for me, its definitely gonna scratch and damage my ipad🤷🏻‍♀️
