New dev here, i don't think we need to lock slots as there should already be a split of old maxed players going to clan wars or ranked, and new players progressing, so it shouldn't be an issue. Also rerolls are cheaper and rates are higher

Feel like rates should be the same, 3% is already high enough, if the rates go anywhere higher, atp, everyone’s going to be walking around with legs and there is going to be no diversity within different races.

The Type soul Copies had less expensive rerolls, and were even more generous with the codes

i think the fact that they are doing that with slots is so dumb its going to have thousands of people hop on realize they have a max slot in a week and wait a week leading to it probably having a shit launch

What would be cool is if you have to start on a new slot and max it so you can fight your former self to obtain your old slot.

i think instead of that locked slot idea it would better if everyone's level and stats reset however the family, ability, and awakened abilities will remain the same. all you gotta do is progress to the state where you were before

the new devs promised us alot of things. weeklies update like deep, reseting The CC title so that's mean we can earn espada, captain, stern etc, and there's also revamped vfx. everything just leaning toward postivity which give me a little bit of hope for them

type soul was my favorite game on roblox by far even tho i didnt have anything rare it was just fun grinding and playing with other people

if u ask me they can make it so everyone's level's and stats resetted and whenever they hit like idk 1/3 of max level they gets their shikai or they can fight for it again bc its not that hard and when they hit max level they can automaticly get their bankai back

I Get that people don’t want to wipe, but i do hope they give some kind of code that gives a wipe ticket for anyone that wants it.

one thing that i loved to hear is they optimized the effects to not explode low end pcs and hope they do less severe loss progression from dying bc is annoying dont having friends that play type soul and having to progress alone and get ganked by 1v3 or more and losing an entire progress

Honestly, i say they wipe everyones levels/experience. But have them keep their clans/res or whatever, whether or not they keep their mode is up to them, but if they keep them, lock it until they get the max rank.

I think the devs should wipe everyone, but keep the necessities, so obviously, if you had Bankai, that’s locked until max lvl, then you get it back after an easy task or smth, same with vizard, and if someone had anything of value in their inventory, that is kept too.

Imo I think they should do it like deepwoken were it an origin like bing a Visor or true banki

All This new run of type soul has to do to keep their playerbase is to actually listen and implement feedback from the community, and make progression not comparable to no life gacha farms. I think the slot system is a partial band-aid fix as once those 2 weeks are up players are going to hop on their OG slot and never go back. Unless the progression changes allow a new player to reasonably get bankai/vasto in that amount of time. A small compensation they could do for fully wiping players who spent a certain amount of money on the game.or unlocked certain forms, could be rerolls or even a special roll that skips the bad tiers.

I Think is would be better to let everyone keep everything but take away there levels and bankai's shifts and i think its called full res so ppl basically keep everything but they just have to refarm lvls because they have supposingly made progression better it shouldnt be 2 bad 2 refarm lvls and bankai etc

Honestly type soul is look better but after seeing that latest video sneak i feel like there doing way too much , stuff like the combo meter, the voice acting on it and more. I feel like thats just WAY to much just for a simple game. Personally if type soul just updated vfx , some new mechanics, new moves and nore QOL touches, it would be fine. Hey, thats just me
