If you have difficulties telling the difference between the colors go on your pc colour settings and change it until you can tell its the right one (just have the video on the side so you can test if you can tell the difference while changing the settings)

take a screenshot of an hollow with white eyes and the one with slightly blue eyes and then change your pc color settings until you can see some difference (idk if it will work but worth the try)

Before was a random 1/20 cahnce at getting it after meditating 10 minutes. Rng absolutely sucked stleast quincies only required basic skill to parry (or just medic encompass). Arrancers definitely have it the easiest now and soul reapers have to fight a broken boss
