Seeing Type O Negative in 1998, opening for Ozzy, with Sepatura, gave me hope for the future of ROCK MUSIC. I am 61 and was a '60s and'70s Rocker. Type O Negative and Peter Steele were our ONLY hope beyond 2000. I lost everything in 2010 and 2011, by death. A best friend, my beautiful red nosed Pitbull, my Mom AND Peter Steele's brilliant music! Everything Dies!!!

Love how deep and rich his voice is. One of my favourite voices in the entire business. Rest in peace, Mr. Steel. You will be missed.

People in the crowd look straight out of the 90s...Type O on the other hand look timeless

This was Type O Negative at their peak - in terms of their abilities on stage. It's almost painful to atch, seeing all of them so young and in such good health (especially Pete - but they all look so young). It's so evident that 15 years certainly took a toll on them... and unfortunately, Pete paid the ultimate price. Beautiful video, man. They should never have stopped playing this song, period.

Damn! I love the "love eternal" part in this! Type O was such an amazing live band. I would choose to die young if we could have Pete back...

I love this song. Always have. I think I'll pour a glass of wine and have a TON day. There are many days I just sit and listen to them all day long. Peter is missed. Wish I could see them live just one more time.

Fantastic performance....gawd daaammmmmmm how I miss Pete. I listen on a daily basis. Along with 69Eyes. Didn't get to see Pete while he was still with us....so I went for MEET/GREET in Atlanta Georgia at The Masquerade May 12th to see 69Eyes....my thing is the front men baritone vocals but they all are appreciated by me due to synchronized togetherness. Pete was my most favorite vocalist of all time until 2&1/2 yrs ago I found a comment on a TON song that mentioned Jyrki69 & 69Eyes....so I KZread searched and the 1st song I ever heard was FRAMED IN BLOOD LIVE AT TAVASTIA video....I nearly fell out of my chair dancing, headbanging, and loving the hell outta Jyrki's baritones. I'm obsessed now, seen multitudes of interviews, other bands featuring Jyrki, Jyrki solo, 69Cats rockabilly, King of Goth~Lyrics of Poison, MarySlim, Night School, Kat Von D Rosary Blue, Matti Esko Pimeea, many more....this man is a jack of many trades....all over the place...commercials for Nokia, Calvin Klein, he does comics, ambassador for the UNICEF, from Helsinki Finland and helps my heart to heal from the heartbreaking news of Pete's death. I didn't know he'd passed away until the end of 2016 cuz I quit listening to music, quit TV, quit radio, and advertising in 2000 doing a 7 yr study of biblical nature and all the different translations. Oh my god!!!!!! I youtubes TON looking back on what I'd missed and was flabbergasted, overwhelmed, regretful, fell into a deep depression for 7 long months. Pete's gone but never forgotten...Jyrki69 is living, very healthy, and very active. I will always love Pete, TON, Carnivore, Pete's songs he's featured in: Decent w/h Doro Peche, Toni Iommi~Just Say No to Love, RIP Green Man. I still cry often over Pete and missing his passing. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I met Peter 4 days before this show in Scranton, PA. When Type O opened for Queensryche. Super, Super nice guy and I felt like we were friends but we only just met. I'm 6'4" so it's not often for me to have to look up at someone! I'll never forget it! I found out later he moved into a house 3 blocks away from my house in Scranton before he died. I wish I knew that at the time and would have knocked and introduced myself again! I'm sure he would have been thrilled! Lol

i still have the (beat to hell) ticket stub from this. They opened for Queensryche. 7/18/95 was in Mansfield Mass. it might be 7/19/95, stud is seriously deteriorated. this is either jones beach or the old great woods in Mass. long live Pete. Type O forever! on this tour was the first time I saw them. I was 16. My all-time favorite band ever since.

I went to See them in the NJ arts center...(the place on the hyway) in the 90's. Right as October Rust was coming out.. I was So Psyched to see them. I didn't even Realize that they were opening for Queenrychë..... another band I've luvd forever....it was an awesome experience.... even though type O played only a half hour , :-(

This and 'Suspended in Dusk' are my favorite TON songs (the 'Out of the Ashes' version). Listening to this live version makes me think of 'Run to You' by Bryan Adams when they go to the two breakdown parts. Kenny's tone is nearly identical to Adams' studio version of 'Run to You'. Weird. They (TON) probably had a good laugh over that.

I prefer the 'Out of the Ashes' version....basically the studio version of this arrangement, only Peter's singing is better in the studio version, tho Josh doesn't play the part he does in this live version on the 'Out of the Ashes' studio version, so I guess this live version is a bit of a mix of both studio versions.
