Nope, I disagree, As much as I love the guy, it's fair to say Kenny is messy with the rhythm and the tone, he goes too fast and his bands try to compensate...But he does not keep the tempo right on Are you afraid. It's cool to have energy and stage presence, I give you that, but not at the expense of the musicality.

Saw these guys on tour with Cradle of Filth in the early 2000's in OKC. Pete was drinking red wine on stage while performing, playing bass one-handed. Everyone was wearing prison jumpsuits and bandannas. Kenny had a cage around his keyboard rig that he kept pulling and ripping at while screaming and generally throwing a tantrum. In hearing/reading about the period after the fact, I realize how little of it was an act, how rough things were with Pete at this point. The thing is, though, they fucking KILLED. I'm not letting my fanboy opinion in here: they didn't miss a note, and while Pete might have been drunk, high, and bored, he sure as shit didn't sound like it. He ripped the tunes with feeling. Made the up-tempo theatrics of Cradle seem like a high school play. I consider myself extremely lucky to have had a chance to see them.

I saw them around same time(2001-2002) at a club in Iowa call the Pig Pen; It was fucking awesome. I was surprised at the smaller size of the venue because I saw them at a much larger venue in Indianapolis. But the club in Iowa is a fan's dream. They were accessible after the show. My friends and I got our cd cases autographed. The band was so kind and down to earth. They sat at the bar and drank with us(after the bar closed). I was blown away... I didn't have any trouble talking to Josh, Johnny and Kenny, but I couldn't seem to squeak out a word to Peter whom I was dying to talk to. If only I could have a do over with part of that night.

I remember the first time I saw em live was at The Odeon in Cleveland with Static X and Dope in '98...Man there was so much bass when they played that the rafters were literally visibly oscillating and my nads had that peculiar feeling one gets on a roller coaster. I expected a vampire to come out, and I was suprised that Pete sounded more like Sly Stone than Dracula, it was just epic. That show also got me into Static X. Only comparable show I saw was Pantera/anthrax. Man those were the days.

never is to late or to early to heard TON.... wines, beers and some good songs all the way in....
Man those were the days.

this entire show is one of their best performances i think. can't get enough of it.
This is one of the best Type o live performances on tape, and also a great live song for them. It really uses the best live-dynamics in Peters voice. More of these please!
Now this is a Type O video. Just them kicking ass! They were an experience to see live and I consider myself quite lucky. He threw a pumpkin in the crowd.

Uma obra de arte! Por todos os que passaram pelos anos 90 com os problemas que as drogas trouxeram, esta música é épica!

"...Remember when you ran away And I got on my knees and begged you Not to leave because I'd go berserk? Well!..."
I only discovered this band 3 days ago and I'm addicted to Steele and their songs.
How can anyone dislike anything Type O Negative.
I saw them in Wiesen/Austria - I was afraid!! Best day of my life!
It's funny seeing the crowd clap for them 🤣. It's like Origins of the Feces, but appreciative. 4:06
The intro is epic !!!!
now im not afraid, someone paranoid like me is already over there thank pete for help us in cruel times whith your sarcasm and that kind of musik we loved since that time we heard u the first time, rest in peace
One year later and there still is nothing for us to replace what we lost in Pete's death. I miss him, I miss the anticipation of the next Type O masterpiece, I miss the autumn shows on the East Coast.......thanks for everything Pete. RIP
Fantastic live video of the band in action. We miss ya Peter, the world of Metal is not the same without you in it.
I saw them in L.A. at Scream, across from McAuther Park. They were intense, magical - a true soul-touching moment in time.
Awesome Band!

Pure Power!
I managed to see every tour from Bloody Kisses to Dead Again. They played Florida pretty heavily. Saw them in night clubs in Fort Myers (with Life Of Agony and God Lives Under Water), Ozzfest, St. Petersburg, Orlando, but the best shows were ALWAYS at Masquerade in downtown Tampa (Ybor).
I feel happy listening this
This live is wonderful...!!!
ONE TWO THREE FOUR I DONT WANA LIVE NO MORE! luv that
unjustifiable existence! gravity, crushing me!!! Miss you, Peter.
I started to listen o Type O Negative in a time when most of the new metal bands were trying to sound the same. Is one of the best times of my life, when I was able to escape reality thanks to peter Steele and company, I will always miss Pete, because people so honest like him are so hard to find. God bless You Pete!.
This version of Unjustifiable Existence of Gravity is mindblowing!
I had the Hammer Gear emblem painted on my truck in Iraq. Those that knew said it was bad ass. Those that didn't just thought it was a Motor-T thing.
R.I.P. Pete you will never be forgotten
Ultimate Band - a never ending great story - RIP Pete ;.-/
